...but how will we cope without Martin? Without his warmth and humour won't it be a bit bleak?

Yes Ladytron. Could she be the woman buried in the clay?

glamorousgrandmother · 19/12/2015 15:29

I'm going away for a few days and will have to catch up with this when I get back. I hope nothing bad comes to light about Henrik, watching him fold his daughter's clothes to put away was heart breaking. Everything seems to point to Anneka but with two episodes still to go anything could happen.

Besom · 19/12/2015 15:45

I've just read another review that says 'the conclusion will break your heart'. Sad

Hangingbasket14 · 19/12/2015 15:47

I'm pretty sure the heartbreak will be Sagas and will be linked to a revelation about Hans or, could be barking up the wrong tree again

HermioneWeasley · 19/12/2015 15:59

I am so NOT up for being heartbroken.

But I can't not watch.

Aaaargh

HanSolo · 19/12/2015 16:03

I think Henrik is involved in his wife and children's disappearance. That's why its heartbreaking, because Saga is falling for him.

Hangingbasket14 · 19/12/2015 16:30

HanSolo, I really, really hope not....

Besom · 19/12/2015 16:33

Morton Anker was killed by his 'brother' presumably because of something he knew. What? What?

At least I only now have a few hours left in which to drive myself mad.

Mince314 · 19/12/2015 16:39

I can't wait!

Hansolo, I agree. He drove them to flee. Maybe because his drug use was making him appear crazy or dangerous. They're out there but they're living happily him with new identities. The hallucinations he sees are not ghosts but his conscience or his psychoses.

I don't want to be heart broken either! the end of series two was upsetting. I needed counselling, nearly!

Mince314 · 19/12/2015 16:41

yes, I think I'm going to nail my colours to the same mast as ovenchips. There will be a lot more to it than just this, but Emil is the mastermind and he is Freddie's son.

Mince314 · 19/12/2015 16:44

or maybe henrik did kill his wife and children and can't bring himself to hand himself in, but the guilt is making him unravel and so he sought out Saga deliberately as the next best thing to handing himself in.

Besom · 19/12/2015 16:44

It doesn't seem very likely that saga and Henrik will fall in love and live happily ever after, does it?Hoping to be proved wrong.

Hissy · 19/12/2015 17:07

I was doing to suggest a drinking game.... A drink every time saga says "ah, or ye"

But we'd not make it through the first of the 2 episodes, and we'd all be comatose by the second!

Besom · 19/12/2015 17:25

Grin all crying into our wine before we even get close to the heart break bit.

Mince314 · 19/12/2015 17:32

I didn't realise that that "aw" sound was Ja. I knew it meant yes. But I don't hear the beginning of it. Only hear the "aw"

Mince314 · 19/12/2015 17:33

Besom, maybe we'll be ok. None of us is expecting a saccharine sweet hollywood ending. it can't be worse than the ends of series one (August dying) and series two (Marten going to prison!). How can they top that in the misery stakes!

Mince314 · 19/12/2015 17:35

Hissy not that it's exactly cheerful but have you seen en kongelig affaere?

Mince314 · 19/12/2015 17:38

link

I love the Danish in this, in parts it's so clear and easy for a foreigner to understand. Great practise.

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 19/12/2015 17:50

Slightly OT: Has anyone watched Dag? It's a Norwegian existential comedy that DH and I love. Especially good if you're looking for something a bit "lighter," although it has its dark/serious/contemplative moments too.

StoptheRavelry · 19/12/2015 17:55

I'm embarrassed to say I bought series 2 and have watched the entire thing in the past two days Blush

It does give a different perspective.

Also I knew I'd seen Freddie before (and fancied him just as much!) - he's Thomas Buch from Forbrydelsen, isn't he?

Lovely bloke. mmmm. Smile

I'm not sure I want to watch it tonight if it'll be sad.

Hangingbasket14 · 19/12/2015 17:59

You don't think Saga......dies do you? DB said that it's meant to be the last series....

Hissy · 19/12/2015 18:08

Mince Tak vor det! Can't seem to load it on uk Netflix tho... I do wish they'd take a more international approach to territories

Mince314 · 19/12/2015 18:23

hissy download 'hola' and then you can change your territory to America. It's easy, and I am not the downloading type. I have to admit, I do not live in the uk and so I don't pay the bbc licence fee but at about five to eight tonight I will attempt to crack through BBC and change my territory to UK and hope for the best. Like a little trojan horse. Sometimes it doesn't work the first time, og min hjerte stopper sla! But so far, I've been able to fiddle with it and get it to work just in time. I will need the defibs if I can't get it to work!

Mince314 · 19/12/2015 18:25

hangingbasket oh that would be awful if Saga died. I know Hans Rosenfeldt said that there mightn't be a fourth series. That could be a non-spoiler way of preparing the viewers gently.
