I spent the whole week ignoring the Guardian's US blog on episode 1. It is so cruel to taunt us UK viewers with it.

Has anyone else seen the promo? I love it!

diddl I am up to episode 6. I prefer this to season 1. I thought Lester Nygard was so cringeworthy. Now it is the same with Peggy. The Gerharts are not my favourites either, just like Hanzee.

I had this series backed up on my planner - waiting for DP to have time so we could watch it together. Finally caught up.

I think I like it even more than season 1. Find Mike, Dod and Hanzee incredibly compelling as three different types of villainy.

I will have more to say...just posting to get the thread on my TIO list and to bump it up!

Well I thought the niece was stupid, but I didn't think it work out quite like that for her.

I am absolutely in love with Lou Solverson - I just love how he's all 'clean cut do good all American hero' type cop, and then he just cuts somebody right down with a sharp witty tongue.
I feel very sad for Betty (Betsy)

Can't believe (and yet at the same time I can) the butcher ran HOME ffs. Than man is 100% idiot.

What an amazing episode! I loved the Wonded Knee touch when Hanzee responds to the racism of the barflies by shooting them there.

In the episode with the stand off at the police station, was one of the gun toting extras behind Bear the chap with the ice scraper who finds the money on series 1?

I love it! The latest episode was so exciting.

I like the poor stupid butcher. I would like him to get away with it all but I can't see that happening now.

Poor Hanzee. He could have been adopted by a nice family, and he got the North Dakota Sopranos. I was rooting for him to get a nice professional haircut and new life, but it was never going to happen. Sad

I never saw the 1st tv series, only the orig. movie.
I enjoy Peggy a lot. She is what she is.
Thank goodness Danson is not winding me up (he is well capable).
Gosh Dodd really was scum, wasn't he?
What is it about Bear, Mike M or Floyd that we like them even though they are brutal thugs, too?
Hope Hanzee escapes it all for a better life.

Oh dear I flinched my way through that episode - a bit gratuitous wasn't it, with the stabbing situation - I dunno, I just found it a bit, erm, grim I suppose.

Peggy is nuts. She's enjoying this all far too much.

Hanzee might get away. You never know.
I could not hate Dodd. He was just like a little boy when they had him in the ropes Smile

It's very clever; I'm enjoying it very much.

I thought that had shades of the last episode (maybe penultimate?) of the first series - I had to leave the room when Billy Bob was sorting out his leg in the cabin

Unlike a PP I could rustle up no sympathy for Dod, though he did make me laugh the way he reacted to Peggy.

I am watching this too. Saw the first series and really enjoyed it.

DH and DS watch it too. Still have this week's episode to watch yet.

I like Peggy. She has grown on me. Not as wet a blanket as she first appeared.

The accents tickle me too.

I can't decide if the UFO was genius or whether it ruined the episode for me. Weird though.
