Sam Seaborn or Josh Lyman?

Sam is the obvious one and is especially charming in his defence of Ainsley Hayes in season 2, but Josh is growing on me, despite his weird hair.

Lilipot fortunately my dh does not have a brother! He loves Toby and very much identifies with him, which amuses me. He also has Toby's good points, such as being passionate about and very good at his job - it's not all the sadness and cynicism :)

And no, poor old Sam didn't have sex with a call girl - he was single, and met a woman! (Who happened to be a call girl, but that's beside the point.) Perfectly trustworthy. Probably quite ridiculously trustworthy tbh.

DH is a Josh and Toby combined. He is more of a Josh at the moment but will become more of a Toby as he gets older- immovable morality and values that he will argue the toss about until the end even if he self-destructs.

Yes, Laurie was an expensive prostitute, but Sam didn't know that when he met her! He didn't pay her. He did nothing to make you not trust him.

DH and I are currently re watching TWW. Midway through season 4 atm.

Gotta be Josh for me every time my DH looks a bit like him.

I used to think Toby but - am re-watching and the always wearing brown would kill it.

Sam is pretty but he leaves and I can't forgive him for that.

I do like Sam and Cliff Callley plus Matthew Perry was much hotter in TWW than in Friends. Minor part, but the mixed race Secret Service guy who guards Bartlet is cute as is Arnie Vinnick's Latino adviser who quits because he can't face campaigning against another Latino.

I haven't repeatedly watched TWW too much!! Oh no! Not me!! No siree!!
