New (final) 'This Is England 90'. Who's watching?

I saw a massive poster for Sunday night's new season, just as the tube train arrived. I let my train home go so I could stare in detail at the characters' new looks. Who are the two blokes on the far left - have they been on before?

There is a This Is England characters catch-up documentary show on Channel4 tonight (Friday) after new Gogglebox, so prob 10pm.

On first reflection Woody's speech in TIE90 about forgiveness is the most important one in the entire series. How vital it is to reach a point where you can forgive (Shaun and his dad, Woody and Milky, Lol and her dad, Kel and her family, Trev and her experience etc etc) just so you can move on. Milky cant forgive Combo and look at him at the end, eaten up by what hes done. Even though Combo says 'I forgive you'.

Amazing series. Hard to watch, but excellent.

I feel emotionally wrung out.

Everyone is so good in it. Even the comic relief guys were great.

But one thing is troubling me. How on earth did Harvey manage to have such white clothes all the time when his flat was such a mess?

We feel sorry for combo I reckon because when he saved lol he redeemed himself. M

And he didn't even skip a heartbeat when he did it. It was nature to him.

Lol must be sick inside. She had a child with milky and he has the man who saved her killed. We need 92.

That was powerful stuff. So brilliantly acted. I'm sad for Milky though. I would have liked a happy ending for him too.

Oh i didnt like that at all! Sad its not finished! I'm guessing we're to assume combo is dead? But i need to know. I dont like loose ends. I was pleading with milky to change his mind and call it off.

Also can anyone explain who the guys were that they handed combo over to? He really panicked when he saw them. Why? Im guessing they were national front guys? Did they have an axe to grind with combo?

I think that it was white guys in a kind of 'hoist by his own petard' gesture, killed by his own hand in a way.
So tragic that he had his road to Damascus moment too late.

Brilliant ending and what great levity with Woody's ex lover and her wedding planner book. I love the way it's written, so much light and dark.

I agree too neat for kelly. It felt rushed. They spent so long on her story with the previous 2 episodes and they just quickly wrapped it up.

This was the episode we were waiting for from TIE90. The characters people love the best are the central characters; there's a history with them that there wasn't with Kelly I think.

I wish there would be another.

I assume they were former NF guys with a grudge against Combo. Not sure why.

In Kelly's scene with Lol, did she say she'd only smoked it? Or had she injected it? DH was getting flirty with the ironing board and I missed it.

Yes she said she injected it. I agree it was far to tidy for kelly. I reckon that series could have gone another 4 episodes. Even just to give kelly's story the exploration i think it should have had.

What was the speech we could hear in the background as Combo was hauled off ?? Enoch Powell ? ...i agree with him dying by his own hand, dramatic irony. Happy for Woody and Lol and Kelly really. Nice final scene ?? i guess it all came full circle but it leaves you wanting more.

I think the white guys were just professional killers and when combo saw them he realised he wasn't going to escape with a beating but that was it
