Nadiya's cake sounds delicious. I love so many of her flavour combos.

Hope ian isnt star baker. Nadiya and tamal are my favs. There is no one who i really dislike this year. They all seem to be nice.

Hello, I haven't been on but DH is working and I need to vent.

These sugar-free cakes that they're making. They're replacing the sugar with... other sugars. Sugar from any other source is still sugar, right? I know there's glucose/fructose/sucrose/maltose etc but it's still sugar. Are they not missing the point somewhat? How is this supposed to be "healthy".

Bit worrying that student anaesthetist Tamal can't do maths.

Alvin is right - it is too simple.

Normal table sugar is sucrose. Considered Bad. All the fruit and the agave nectar is fructose, which can lead to insulin resistance. Which is surely worse?

Am I really missing the point of this?

I guess healthy sugars as opposed to refined sugar?
