Oh I love this. Never seen it before.
The bride sounds like Caroline Ahearne in the Royle. Family.

Oh dear don't see a happy ever after here

curlyclaz13 · 22/07/2015 20:50

Just come down to find it on, are they getting married at the Odeon Hmm

RedCrayons · 22/07/2015 20:51

I used to go to that cinema in my young days. I remember that back row Hmm

Classy swig of Pepsi! Will they throw popcorn instead of confetti?

mrsdavidbowie · 22/07/2015 20:53

Awful bridesmaids.
I would have stayed in the limo and gone to the pub

She should have worn the dress he's chosen - it was a better fit and more elegant. Can't believe the histrionics from the daughters over the dress.

fancyanotherfez · 22/07/2015 20:53

The bridesmaids look miserable. I wonder if there is more to it with them

Cynara · 22/07/2015 20:55

Two faced snake (the bridesmaid)!! Apparently he's done a good job now, after moaning about him non-stop....

RedCrayons · 22/07/2015 20:55

All that 'he's finally showed us he loves her and we can trust him' Hmm

Cecyhall · 22/07/2015 20:55

'You can't get much more family than that'

Apart from actually being family?

Rollermum · 22/07/2015 20:56

That's his daughter I think!

Cecyhall · 22/07/2015 20:56

I didn't like this one at all, but he seems to have made his money stretch a long way

Rollermum · 22/07/2015 20:58

Hold the phone - did the preview of next week show the groom making the bride overcome her fear of flying...on her wedding day?!

notquitehuman · 22/07/2015 20:59

Oh my god the ex wife was at the wedding? Wonder if bride was the OW. It'd explain all the stuff about trusting him.

Methe · 22/07/2015 20:59

£14k for that? I'd be gutted. Weren't the daughters a pair of utter bitches too.

RedCrayons · 22/07/2015 20:59

I was wondering where all the money went. It can't cost much to hire the cinema for a couple of hours.

almondfinger · 22/07/2015 20:59

The daughter is a complete wagon.

Methe · 22/07/2015 21:02

There was no food, no flowers, shit venue, second hand dresses with borrowed jewellery..and weatherspoons for the hen.

I could have done that for about £600.

It was 14k wasn't it? Not £14.

(My own wedding cost less than £2k for anyone who thinks I'm being a snob)

KenDoddsDadsDog · 22/07/2015 21:04

How do they get it so wrong with the money ?

grahamnortonsbeard · 22/07/2015 21:04

Did anyone else notice how the girl in the car was wearing her seatbelt (when they drove to look at that billboard thing)? It wasn't over her shoulder but went round under her boob! Most odd (and illegal?)

Figster · 22/07/2015 21:06

the shop man was lovely wasn't he, not that they deserved it.
the dress he picked was definitely better and it fit her better. I'd have worn the dress he picked.

grahamnortonsbeard · 22/07/2015 21:09

They were determined to hate it, whatever it was. Little witches!
Yes shop man was lovely and I loved his defence of his shop.

SirChenjin · 22/07/2015 21:15

The man in the dress shop was lovely, wasn't he? Very kind, very dignified. And so was Jackie - far too good for him. I agree with everyone questionning where the money went - must have all gone on the Odeon Shock

Methe · 22/07/2015 21:18

It makes much more sense to rent wedding dresses really doesn't it?

My dress was £560. I absolutely adored it and I think it looked fabulous but it's in the bin now as my cat pissed all over it the box it was in under my bed when she was a kitten and ruined it. I wish I'd bought it from oxfam.. Or given it to oxfam!
