Is the whole of TOWIE completely made up i.e. they are real people but that's where the truth begins and ends?
e.g. Dani and Lockie. A year or so ago there was some heavily tattooed girl saying that Lockie had been with her. That he'd complained to her that he thought the actress who'd been recently cast to play his girlfriend wasn't good looking enough but they'd shortly split up anyway.
Then a few nights later, they split up.
Then last series, they are back together and are buying a flat together, apparently spending all his savings on the deposit. Three months later, she dumps him and orders him out of the flat. if i were him, I'd be asking for my money back, but... silence.
Lockie is going to ask Dani to marry him apparently. Instead he gets dumped, which has to be very upsetting in real life. Instead he lets the camera do a long short on the ring, instead of taking the alternative option of never taking it out of his pocket.
Finally, lockie is in real life trouble for possibly racially abusing some people. As a punishment a new storyline appears that he's trying it on with verity within days of the break up and it just so happens that someone had a camera pointing at him (presumably close enough to record the voices) while he was propositioning her.
I think I may just have lost my ability to believe that maybe the stories are even a little bit true.
(I do believe Gemma Collins is a vile, loudmouthed, bully though!)
