But did he become a 'new' Don or did he just have a lightbulb moment realising that the hippie movement presented a huge new market sector?

I loved this whole episode. Person to person - in the sense of the phone calls and also the eventual true connection that Don felt with another person. The hugging scene had me very teary! And so pleased for Peggy and Stan - they actually listened to us shouting at them through the screen to get it together
Grin I also think Peggy accepted Joan's offer. The Coke ad ending was brilliant.

SenecaFalls · 22/05/2015 22:39

No, I'm sure that Peggy did not accept Joan's offer. Surely, she worked on the Coke ad with Don.

As a feminist, I loved the fact that Joan chose starting her own business over running off with that particular fellow.

FeckityFeck · 23/05/2015 16:44

Peggy definitely didn't accept Joan's offer. The name of her business when the secretary person answered the phone was Holloway Harris (Joan's original surname and married surname) not Harris Olsen. Joan said to Peggy you only need two names to name a business :-)

The coke ad was definitely Don's. Peggy typing was representing that she had found a partner who accepted her and respected her work unlike Joan who literally went into partnership with herself. I loved it! Poor Betty.

After delaying the inevitable for entry a month, tonight I finally watched the last two episodes of series 7.

It was pretty perfect but... waaaaaaahhhhhh. I don't want to say goodbye. Sad
