On MrsPeabody's advice I've started a new one.

OP posts:
brittanyfairies · 23/03/2015 10:00

Marking my spot to join in the chat. I've watched it this morning and have really enjoyed.

Treesex was so close.

Aridane · 23/03/2015 10:08

Shh about the tree sex!

rallytog1 · 23/03/2015 10:14

That's good to hear fairies - I've been worrying it might be a bit dull tonight so they can do a slow burn to the finale.

MrsPeabody · 23/03/2015 10:22

Glad to hear it's a good episode. Will return after watching tonight incase there are any spoilers.

IhadsexwithanelfinIceland · 23/03/2015 11:03

Daily Mail sidebar has a spoiler pic.

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 23/03/2015 11:15

I'm going to have to watch it tomorrow with the curtains closed so I can see the screen. I'm too tired today, I need an early night.

hopefulpuffin · 23/03/2015 11:53

I've just seen it.

I will patiently wait to discuss until tomorrow because I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to say.

Can I say I thought it was good? Because it was.Smile

And I agree with Limited that the Dutch version of The Vanishing movie is absolutely 100% terrifying.

IdaBlankenship · 23/03/2015 13:05

Oh god, The Vanishing - even reading the synopsis makes me feel breathless and claustrophobic, that and that potholing movie The Descent...

I am getting more hardened with age though, as I would never have watched a zombie series before, and I enjoyed Shaun of the Dead (and yes, I can watch The Lost Boys nowadays without having to watch through my fingertips at the bonfire scene).

What I find really scary nowadays is anything to do with kids being hurt/abducted or psychopaths hiding in people's cupboards or attics. There was a trailer for a new show called Stalker or somesuch which had a man hiding under a rug on the floor and you just saw him pulling the rug back whilst the woman whose home is was, was oblivious. Grim.

Boysclothes · 23/03/2015 13:06

TREE SEX??????

OMG I literally cannot wait now.

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 23/03/2015 14:01

Tree sex?

I watched a couple of episodes of Stalker, it was utter pants.

I'm not telling you which film scared me the most, because I've been told it isn't that scary, and you'll all laugh.

IdaBlankenship · 23/03/2015 14:08

Saskia I admitted to The Lost bloody Boys, keep me company in the corner of shame Grin

Moln · 23/03/2015 14:21

I've only just caught up with last week's episode. I'm not sure I've recovered from the loss.

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 23/03/2015 14:22

Okay, it was Blair Witch Project. Go on, everyone laugh Blush

In my defence, I've seen lots of horror, I watch that genre more than any other, but for some reason that film was too creepy for me to watch alone.

IdaBlankenship · 23/03/2015 14:34

No shame in that - it terrified the pants off me. The last scene still lingers in my memory. I refuse point blank to watch Paranormal Activity for that reason.
It's OK, we can sit in the corner and watch nice things like Poldark with his top off until the bad memories go away Grin

EpitomeOfFrump · 23/03/2015 14:36

I am not a fan of horror at all, I really only watch TWD for the story of the survivors as I like the whole what would you do questions it poses, the same reason I started watching Revolution which started off quite well, then went a bit shit, then got very complicated, then it got cancelled so gave up before finishing season 1. I have come to the conclusion I would not last five minutes in any post apocalypse world! . The film that really made me jump was What Lies Beneath which is a bit sad really but I did live in a house that definitely had a presence at the time so that's probably why it spooked me so much.
I won't be posting much on this thread unfortunately as due to what a PP said I realised I will not be able to watch the series finale as I am on fucking holiday! I won't be able to watch it until the Friday at earliest, totally gutted! I might save tonight's episode and watch them both together and make a night of it.

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 23/03/2015 14:56

It was the bit in the tent that got to me. You know when they can hear someone/something outside? Put me right off camping. Not that I'd been a fan before that.

I haven't seen Poldark - is it a historical romance thing? I tend to watch Vikings for shirtless manly men.

BreakingDad77 · 23/03/2015 15:03

What I find really scary nowadays is anything to do with kids being hurt/abducted

I actually found the film lord of the flies disturbing, and also sad when the boy loses his arm in Master and commander. Anyone remember children of the corn!

I remember being scared by Big trouble in Little China! when I was young after watching it at friends.

IdaBlankenship · 23/03/2015 15:08

We have house guests when the series finale airs, so I won't be able to watch it for TWO weeks Shock [anger]. I'm sure I won't be able to hide from spoilers for that long unless I hide the whole internet.

There is a lot that is scary about Big Trouble in Little China, mainly the acting Grin

Strawberryhearts · 23/03/2015 15:18

I have a horrible feeling that Sasha will shoot Edith (is that her name). It really looked like she was going to on the trailer, but they manipulate them so could just be her shooting a zombie from the watch tower.

I have a feeling Deanna or her husband might die tonight ... or both.

MrsPeabody · 23/03/2015 15:44

I thought big trouble in little china was really scary too. I have a thing about eyes though. Grin

Who is Edith again?

vvviola · 23/03/2015 15:54

This probably isn't the best place to admit that I had nightmares after watching ET

Haggisfish · 23/03/2015 16:15

Omg me too!!! That creepy medical tunnel bit at the end . I still hate et.

rallytog1 · 23/03/2015 16:19

Edith is the young girl who's another recent arrival. Some of us think she might be connected to the Wolves.

MrsPeabody · 23/03/2015 16:46

Of course. I just couldn't place her there. That's quite plausible to shoot someone by mistake.

I can't keep away from this thread Grin

IdaBlankenship · 23/03/2015 16:49

So going back to this treesex.... Grin. Would it be too spoilerific to tell us who this near miss pertains to?
