I have never knowingly met a Jewish person. Is that unusual? I also lived in the most wealthiest area of Birmingham, lot of Jewish people lived there. I saw Jewish people once walking along the road wearing their traditional clothing.

I remember Orthodox Jews in Stamford Hill and the wonderful bakery in Finsbury Park. I've friends who are sort of Jewish - Jewish background but mainly atheist socialist types. None of them are particularly well off though.

I watched the This Morning interview with Trevor Phillips.

Trevor said he had felt these issues needed addressing in 2002 after Victoria Climbie murder case because the social workers didn't want to intervene forcefully because of cultural reasons.

Phillip asked why Trevor had taken fifteen years, Trevor said because it is very difficult thing to do. I feel Trevor is very brave.

Jews are stereotyped to be very clever, business minded. From what I have seen of Jewish people in the media that has proven to be true.
