all the media use the term 'Jew' including the BBC.

I'm neither offended nor Jewish, I am suggesting the use of a more humanising term which I personally prefer.

It's more acceptable to say "black people" than "blacks" so presumably it's more acceptable to say "Jewish people" than "Jews" when talking about race?

I acknowledge that we say "Christians", "Muslims" etc when discussing religion rather than "Christian people" or "Muslim people" even though I think that it's nicer to say " people"

Alice are you suggesting that the BBC should be used as some kind of moral benchmark? Are they incapable of bias and causing offence? That's quite an odd viewpoint.

i watched it with interest although by the end wasn't really sure what the point was/what had he gained by it? with regard to the jewish bit at the beginning, that did piss me off because it was all about how wealthy the jewish communit is (quote). it would have fuelled the theory that ani semites have, that all jews are rich. he made reference to them living in the nicer/wealthier area, high proportion were billionaires despite there only being a small amount of jews in the uk etc etc. He didn't once make a point of saying that not all jews are rich and that alot are just regular joes' on the street. Most of the ones i know/knew were regular, neither rich nor poor, some were/are poor (ie my auntie) etc etc. Very misleading to the wrong ears, just confirming what they suspected, that we ARE all rich, utter bollocks rant over

the point was that 'racial profiling' could and should be put to good use
