Im getting a bit of a gilrle crush on Emilia Fox I must say, liking her a lot, very kind to Jamelia.

Kelly Holmes already putting her oar in and forgetting dhe had to overcome her fear of water so why get at Jamelia? Thought J did well to get on the horse and not do a Helen Flanagan as I thought shed be like that.

It was all rather transparent in the end really wasn't it but she stayed the course and there wasn't a really strong front runner because they all made mistakes.

Series Two of The Island starts this Wednesday the 8th and it's on Thursday too. Channel 4 at 9 through 10pm

Agree that she was going to win(even if My Hero was the one who won the fire challenge). Couldn't see Orrible being airlifted out hugging a big hefty rugby player, could you?

I've seen the trailers for the girls/boys islands but that Gryll bloke's doing the show?

And he can just go do a show-off backflip right off-a my screen. Ain't watching -unless I read here there's some must-see footage to watch. Like him backflipping into the jaws of a waiting, and hungry, croc, for instance.

shocked that teacher pet didn't win but then vogue became the other teachers pet, but fair dos, she did survive all, thought shed be out 1st week, all vapid and model air head like but she wasn't.

and yes I think Mike should have won, and he won the fire challenge.

think Kelly blew it when she was drowning! although Id fake a drowning to have Scott rescue me!

all in all it was enjoyable this programme, thanks all for sharing and chatting. hope they do another series of this, I don't watch the other one youre talking about.

Highlight of the programme for me was the glimpse of the real life going on off screen. The shot of the Sanilav was just glorious,even if it was there at the expense of suffering to the Fox bloke's bowels

The two islands programme is just too much of the same too near, for me. Accept it would be slightly better if the two mentors, Scott and Meg, were with them. They were nice.
