Cant see another thread for it.

If he painted a thin moustache on himself and wore a blue stripy bathing cap hed look like Sportacus from Lazytown!

Im getting a bit of a gilrle crush on Emilia Fox I must say, liking her a lot, very kind to Jamelia.

Kelly Holmes already putting her oar in and forgetting dhe had to overcome her fear of water so why get at Jamelia? Thought J did well to get on the horse and not do a Helen Flanagan as I thought shed be like that.

Not a Jamelia fan but thought shes doing well.

Nother thing, you know the pee stuff? Bear knew he was going to get them to do this and I reckon he'd prepared himself in advance, hence his piss was almost pure water while theirs was a concentrated colour and, presumably a taste to match?

And My Hero was to be the only one of the Team to go along to wack a fish with Bear to make up the numbers.

It's still not sitting well with me, Amelia's eviction.Sad

Can't help with your guides name, can't remember the girl's either. I'd love to know more about them.

Trenzalore · 15/03/2015 17:36

well my girly crush on Emilias still intact!

Im still seething about her eviction too.
Bet you anything Kelly wins. dont feel like watching anymore, the favouritism is so obvious, but I want to see how the others get on, plus my guide guy!

I must say my opinion of Bear has changed from watching this programme - he comes across as a bit sneery and conceited; a shame really.

I wonder if the Queen watches her grandSIL ?

LividofLondinium · 17/03/2015 14:47

Oh god yes, Jacana the Sanilav! No wonder there was never mention of how to deal safely with human waste. Hmm We just have to make sure that if we're ever left to survive alone on the jungle that we at least have a portaloo so we can have a comfy shit! Grin And I bet as soon as the cameras are off for the night everyone's back on the luxury tour bus that's parked in the lay-by just out of shot Wink

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 19/03/2015 14:59

I looked up the experts after glancing through the thread and then forgot to post.

Megan Hine
Survival expert, expedition leader and adventurer.

Scott Heffield
ex Royal Marine Commando.

£2,999 for six days at the Academy? I think I'll stick to watching TV shows and hoping I pick up enough survival techniques for the unlikely situations where I might use them.

Jacana · 19/03/2015 18:26

Thanks for the links enriques seems that it's 2,999 for the possible 'guest appearance' - and 3,999 will guarantee he keeps awayGrin

I've now got a girlie crush on Megan.

Trenzalore · 20/03/2015 16:59

ooh, thanks Enrique Ill be drooling over watching tionight.

Itll be Tom or Vogue tonight, Ill be shell shocked if he got rid of Mike.

DS 8 yo loves it and I watch it to keep him company - that's my excuse. I think Mike is great, really chilled and encouraging. I like Kelly, especially her fab arms. I think Tom is good, quiet but comes up with some ideas. They haven't really shown much of vogue. Wonder who / if someone will go tonight. Mike to win.

Jacana · 20/03/2015 18:53

I still think Kelly's going to win. Fair enough, she's great , but it's this feeling I've got that she's bear's favourite and, end of the day, he makes the decisionHmm

From the trailer we saw, seems that the Divine One took a tumble? If he wasn't roped up or there's any suggestion that he was at fault in any way, he may well be out tonight.

Still don't know what Vogue is doing there, tho. Apart from having her own glossy magazine, who is she?

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 20/03/2015 21:11

Vogue's Brian/Bryan McFadden's wife or fiancee I think?

Noticeably tougher tonight.

Jacana · 20/03/2015 22:06

Anyone else admit to being terrified with that high wire thing? Vogue really came out strong tonight, didn't she? I've got to google Brian McWhatsit, know the name, but.... Oh, how come the girls are still wearing eye makeup? I can't manage that on a lazy Sunday at home.Praps the Sanilav(behind a modesty tarp) comes with a popup makeup mirror..

Jacana · 20/03/2015 22:11

Thanks for the Brian McWhasit info, Enrique, seems that Vogue's married to him. God bless Hello MagazineWink

recall · 21/03/2015 02:40

I'm confused - at the end of last weeks episode, they showed a clip if someone falling...we watched it this week and no one fell ?

recall · 21/03/2015 02:42

Also - at the beginning there was a warning about scenes that some viewers may find disturbing ???

Jacana · 21/03/2015 06:51

It was deffo Mike who took the quick way down somewhere in that trailer, recall, heart in mouth then when he was the last over the wire, but whatever it was it got cut. Like they said that Emilia's threw a wobbly in that cave but we didn't see it?

Trenzalore · 21/03/2015 17:14

Tom did so well last night, with his idea for testing the depth of the water and then overcoming his fear to cross the ravine, yet still managed to be evicted!

The girls seem like Jungle Janes don't they? defo coming across better than the guys.

not on next week, its sodding football!

Vogues either a dark horse or Bear fancies her!
kellys def going to win as shes teachers pet but Mike is brilliant isn't he?

OP posts:
butterfly2015 · 21/03/2015 17:24

Not seen last night's yet as we were out but still bemused at emelias eviction last week. Bit gutted as I had her down for the final. She was quiet but determined but bear is all about vogue (have you seen her Twitter messages to him? Boak!) And I think she will win.

Jacana · 21/03/2015 17:58

Praps Tom got the chop cos of being scatterbrained, leaving stuff behind? Mind you, so did Mike. Seems that Megan and Scott debrief to Bear and praps there was something else? I thought he was great facing up to his fear, but end of the day someone had to go and Bear chose himSad

I'm edging towards Vogue for the winner now, rather than Kelly. Deffo my Hero is an also ran here.

So are Bear and Vogue schmoozing on Twitter then?

I googled Bear to see if there was any dirt about him see he's called Bear cos his name's Edward? Didn't know that. Oh, and Ray Mears doesn't like him. I've got a lot of time for Ray MearsGrin

Akire · 23/03/2015 00:29

I've really enjoyed this series, was also confused after showing someone fall last week then nine fell....how disappointing! Did think the fire test was odd how can only one of them have built a fire so far? Surely that would have been the first thing you would have practised if you signed up?

I think Kelly will win.

FinnJuhl · 23/03/2015 00:40

Am fairly sure 'the fall' was just the moment when Mike Tindall jumped backwards into that pool. Out of context, in the trailer, it looked like a dramatic incident, but was actually deliberate. Ah, the magic of TV editing.

Am actually really enjoying the series, although Bear seems a pretty obnoxious character. I also miss Ray Mears, Jacana.

Jacana · 23/03/2015 07:57

Was thinking...from what we've been shown, no shots of them chewing the fat(!) over the camp fire at night when the trek is over, no laughs, no banter, no sharing of worst moments of the day,no"goodnight"s called out a la Waltons* etc?

*was it the Waltons, where they all called out goodnight to each other?

Yes, finn it was probably that backward flip thingy Bear suggested to Mike to showcase his own cleverness. All it did for me was to confirm my thoughts about him.

My pash for Mike remains unabated but I think he should have walked after the last epi rather than Tom. Didn't Megan have to take that root off him, the one that would have poisoned the lot of them if they'd eaten it? That scores a whole row of black marks to me.

So, when's the next epi, anyone know, and is the next also the last?

butterfly2015 · 23/03/2015 08:10

Kelly picked loads of stuff that was poisonous and meg had to tell her to leave it.

Vogue hasn't done anything wrong but she's never taken the lead or come up with as ny ideas either. She sits back and listens.

To be honest I wouldn't rate any of them surviving for any length of time on their own.

Oh and that fruit thing looked like cat sick.

butterfly2015 · 23/03/2015 08:11

Friday night is the next one.

Jacana · 23/03/2015 08:31

Friday, ok, thanks for thatSmile

Jacana · 27/03/2015 13:35

Bloody hell, I'd got prepared with my bottle of piss(actually cheapo vino stuff, but I reckon the taste's the same) ready for the final push to the Pacific- and it's not onShock

The footies Euro Qualifier, ok, I go along with that but surely one of the other ITV stations could've shown the jungle programme. They could have spit roasted miss Marple for instance, bit scraggy tho..

So when will we see it, anyone know?
