Take a look at Curb Your Enthusiasm series 1, eps called Porno Giill. Our hero plays a porn star, must have been made a good while ago; he looks friggin' LUSH.

I've seen both episodes and I'm really enjoying it! Episode 2 was brilliant. The whole negotiation with Tucco Grin

I love the BB characters turning up and the camera work is very reminiscent of it.

I've not watched Breaking Bad but loved Better Call Saul.
DH watched and loved BB and loves BCS too :)
For those without Netflix it's sold on iTunes too, per episode.

Can I ask what people made of the (will try not to be too spoilery) space blanket scene? Why did it matter? I don't understand why he insisted his brother take the blanket off.

Yes i was a bit baffled by that scene too. I sort of decided that the blanket was another aspect of chuck's illness which i am guessing is that he thinks he is made ill by radiation? So he uses th tin foil blanket to protect himself but saul/jimmy finds it too much to tolerate?

ah I missed that they were brothers. Glad I know now, had no idea what the connection was.

Not sure, maybe his illness is to do with his state of mind, so the blanket was for the mobile phone and not needed?

Yes i kind of wondered if chuck put it on to 'punish' saul for bringing gis phone in when he was drunk. Kind of like "look how sick youve made me and i have to do this now"

Or even... I don't know, could it be possible that his brother is mentally ill and Jimmy normally goes along with his brothers delusions, but didn't have the patience when he was hungover? I don't know whether that electromagnetic allergy thing is real! I'll have to google it.

Yes thats what i took from it. That it was imagined and saul usually goes along but didnt have the patience for it after being on the drink.

Has no one watched episode 3 yet? An intriguing flashback, and a man stepped out of his booth. Enjoyable TV but I'm not sure I'd be hooked if not for the BB connection.

I've just finished watching. I'm really enjoying it. It's difficult to tell if I'd have had the same interest without it coming off the back of BB but I'm certainly finding it very watchable.

Cooroo My thoughts exactly. It's good, but I would probably only be slightly interested if it weren't for BB.

I won't spoil for anyone...but I found aspects of the latest ep rather unlikely. Regarding the man in the booth.

DP thought boat too but I couldn't see how they'd keep the kids quiet. How long did he walk before he stumbled over that tent? Funny though.

Someone on a Buzzfeed post said that you can see Gus in the first episode, that Saul nods to him as he enters the lift. It isn't him though, just looks like him a bit.

But it got me thinking, what are the odds that they will slip in a few sneaky cameos like that? ALL the characters may have been in the area at the time. I like the idea of him going to the local high school for some reason and when he walks down the corridor you can see Mr White teaching a class, and Jesse messing about at the back of the room! Grin

Absolutely loved this and preferred it to Breaking Bad. Mainly because I love Jimmy!!! Does any one know if there will be a second season and when???
