differentnameforthis I think Lucy might have had run ins with the police in the past for bad behaviour. I don't remember exactly, but she went through a rebellious stage and was drinking and stealing. She might have given fingerprints back then.

Lucy and Jay on the bus. Was the stop they got off at the square or near where she was found or somewhere else. I can't remember.

Norfolk, the bus CCTV footage is on the EE website.

When the police first arrived at Ian's house, he asked them if they wanted a drink before they told him about Lucys murder. If police turned up on my doorstep unexpectedly I'd be asking why fairly urgently before I asked about drinks.

I'd like to know if it is actually possible to work out who did it. Are the clues all there ? Or are they going to spring a total surprise ?

I think they both got off at the Walford common stop.

Actually I've just looked at the Walford common entrance CCTV on the EE website and there is footage missing from 23.54 - 23.55:30. Like the video skips for 1.5 minutes. Hmm!

Also there's a Walford common flats entrance CCTV footage where Jake comes and bangs on the doors, looks at the camera and shouts something like open the door and then the door opens and he goes in. There is no time on the CCTV when this happens.

Why didn't tamwar ever show anyone the note from the funeral he found 'may you rot in hell'

Is anyone else annoyed that the answers in the crossword don't match the visible parts of the clues? Or am I the wrong kind of pedant for this thread

I think Tamwar did show someone the note, Norfolk. He worked out whose handwriting it was - Whitney's? Can't remember the details.

I am dying to know why Jay was on the bus! He probably just agreed to go along for protection or something but, since everyone in Sociopath Square lies by default, it's impossible to tell.

Oh this thread has moved on. I am fairly sure its Abi and Jay/Ben/Max are covering for her. Max finds Emma's case file and destroys it why would he do that if he didn't know something?

He worked out it was whitneys and showed his sister and then Whitney and she explained it away somehow

I thought carol found the case file under the sink at the end of the last episode. When did Max find Emma's case file. Was this recently or a while back?

They found Emma's bag under the table in brannings house. And lauren picked it up and pulled out phone and Abi was looking stressed and then relieved when max came in and they put it back

When Max was shouting at Carol saying "I don't want your sympathy!" it's like he feels he doesn't deserve it, as if (although the whole car thing wasn't his fault) he's blaming himself for how things have played out (Emma's death etc), as if he's done a cover up on Lucy's murder and he feels guilty that he had to get Emma on side and she stuck around and ended up dead iyswim?

I think Max ripped it up because it was Emma's, rather than because it was evidence against him.
