Soooo by the time this gets to 1000 we should know who Lucy's killer is do we actually care?

Seems jane is the hot favourite tho Abbi a close 2nd

Mac pushed Lucy and she fell but walked away seemingly fine. Abi knows about this?

Later Lucy goes to see Max but only Abi is there, Max is out walking the dog.

Lucy collapses and dies while Abi just watches (from the earlier blow to the head)

Abi, to protect Max rings Jay and him and Ben move the body and take the purse and phone to make it look like a mugging.

Lauren possibly knows about it too.

Therefore Abi is covering up that Max actually killed Lucy but he doesn't know!

When Emma rings someone it is Abi or Jay she rings and when accused they tell her the story which is why she says but its still murder but doesn't hand the killer in to the police.

Although that doesn't explain why she says it wasn't there?

'ditto Jake.' if they're trying to keep Jake low profile so it's a surprise they've gone a bit too far, he's now been gone so long I have no attachment to the character any more. They'd need to start reintroducing him pretty soon which might look a bit suspicious and clumsy.

Jake will only be in the flash back episode along with rainie and Lucy. He's not rejoining the cast.

This is the reason why the murderer will be told who they are a fortnight before the reveal to film the episode.

Apparently loads of secrets from last year that happened on that night will also be revealed so we'll find out exactly what everyone was up to that night.

I still think jane, just acting odd with the giving lauren an alibi and remember when ben went in there with the story (made up) about finding the mobile and purse, she was all wierd about that and then hiding the stuff in the floor.,.
And there's no way her and ian will last and just can't see her being in the program now for the foreseeable.

Someone just posted a potentially massive spoiler on my newsfeed. Apparently an EE actor revealed who the killer was at a recent sporting event, there's a photo and everything.

I hope it's fake since even the cast are not supposed to know.

Nah, the cast don't know yet... Pretty sure it was a joke.

I don't think Abi knew about Lucy bumping her head until after she'd died - I seem to remember a scene where Max told Abi & she freaked out & insisted on bleaching the car lot before the police found out about the relationship in case they searched it for evidence.

Would it count as murder if it was Max's shove that killed her? Surely that would be manslaughter - I don't think he pushed her to deliberately cause any significant harm, did he?

I thought he grabbed her, to stop her leaving & she fell...will have to go watch it again.

I asked before, but I don't know if you all missed it, but why did the police have Lucy's fingerprints on file? (when the police told Ian about having found a body, they said they matched the prints to those they had on file..)

There was a children in need eastenders sketch and ian was doing a crossword and was knocked out and had a dream lucy was in it (so watching that again for clues)

The thing is, unless it's a total stranger it's going to be a bit odd whoever killed Lucy because they all acted totally shocked when they found out, and they have all acted like they haven't done it, even in scenes when they have been by themselves. Or in the scenes with Emma, everyone has acted normally, when one person shouldn't be if you see what I mean.
