My friend/neighbour popped round about an hour ago as she wanted my opinion on a dress she had just bought. My OG DVD was on. "Is that on AGAIN?" she said. "It's always on when I come in. You only watch it for HIM!" Mental response: it's not always on. Sometimes I switch it off before I answer the door in case she thinks I'm obsessed. Yes, I do watch it mainly for CJ but not entirely. She is the one who wasn't taken with CJ in his paddling pool and said he looked too bony with his shirt off.

ilove she might be your friend/neighbour, however completed deluded in terms of taste. How she can think he is bony! Maybe she is more suited to Damian Lewis the uncooked sausage!

I think I must be in the minority in not finding Nigel Harman wrestle-worthy. Maybe it's cos I saw him in Shrek the musical and he played Lord Farquaad with little dangling legs.

I would be the first to agree that her taste in men is somewhat suspect. You would have been embarrassed to be seen out with her ex-husband and then she took up with an army guy who was nothing more than a thug and so intimidating. Reckon CJ would be too top drawer for her (but not me). At least my ex-husband was respectable looking but just married to his work and almost to his mother. (Well rid).

Many of us agreed that there were a number of extra scenes we would have liked to see and that five episodes made it all seem rather rushed. We thought a sixth episode would have been ideal. Were you restricted to five parts from the BBC?

How long did it take to film the scenes out in South Africa? Were you given time to acclimatise to the heat?

Red hair, fair skin and hot sun don't always go together. How did you cope? Total sunblock all the time?

If we aren't going to host the event at Downton as they rip you off, where are we going? Like the idea of partial ruins. Surely there must be a castle somewhere falling down. I remember going to Bodiam Castle when I was little, that's got a moat too!!!!!! We could have skinny dipping afterwards to cool down. We've seen CJ in a paddling pool...next step....

Tom Hiddlestone is a must. He can parade around the ring before the wrestling begins (like race horses do before the race) in his WW1 officer uniform. I see him going up against Rupert.

Yes to skinny dipping in a torch (the flame sort not battery) lit moat (lots of floating on backs), then vigorous towelling down afterwards.

Daniel Craig yes, but only if he wears his budgie smugglers to enter the ring...then strips off for the bout. What about Warwick Castle? Not a ruin particularly but very gothic and Tudor so Damien will feel at home if he feels the need to come as Henry VIII

There's also a working dungeon where all the defeated wrestlers could be sent ready for first aid administering.
