Ladies - does anyone who may not have seen the original OG one-off want it on DVD? I bought it after having watched the series as I wanted to see how Molly came to enlist in the first place but it's not something I will probably watch again now I know the background. If somebody wants it, I am happy to let you have it. It is good as it fills in a few gaps but is clearly in a different league to the series. Let me know.

I watched it when I was off sick after I'd had my shoulder done but it's not something I am likely to watch again so will just end up collecting dust!

I've given up on trying to get the ringtones to work. I have a hate hate hate relationship with itunes, so most things take me an age to work out. For an organisation that prides itself on easy software interfaces, Apple have made an utter pig's ear of that one. It doesn't help that I have THE FEAR that I will one day wipe everything off my phone by clicking the wrong button.

Just watched series 2 of bluestone, even better than 1! Can't wait for the next! Will it come out in march?

What I hate about iTunes is that it seems almost every time I go on it, it's changed and not being the most intuitive person, it takes me ages to work out how to work it again. I haven't updated my iPod for ages so that's an extra faff.

richtea it seems this thread is the place for confessions. Call me shallow, but I'm still stuck on the fact you went on Concorde!! Seriously though, you must be v proud of your husband for rebuilding everything.
I'm hung up on qualifications simply because I want my children to have choice in life. I've no problem with them not going down the uni path as long as they've got an idea of what they want to do as an alternative, but as it is, ds changes his mind every few months as to career, so I figure a degree will at least give him a platform on which to build. Any tips on how to manage these last few months before A levels?

I've said it before but I'll say it again - I love Bluestone 42!!! Its got it all really - very funny, black humour but the seriousness/irony of the situation never escapes you and I like the Nick/Mary relationship. However, one tracked his mind is you can't really dislike him for it and she's fighting her inclinations all the time (most of the time!). Lets hear it as well for Bird's Boogie Night!!

I really liked the whole series, and each episode is only half hour long. It's not OG, but is funny, one they have uniforms, and the captain is "hot, tall, looks good in uniform and incredibly brave" .... Very watchable, I find!! :)
