Yes, your reactions to my ironed lip were the same as my friends and family at the time: laughter! My lip swelled right up and then blistered and it was very embarrassing having to explain how it had happened. I do have a habit of wanting to smell everything though; my daughter told me off in J Lewis this weekend when she caught me sniffing the towels...

Don't read the papers then thread as there's a big write-up and review on last nights Broadchurch in our paper today containing a lot of spoilers. Catch up quick!!

Why is "Even with a limp?" said so deeply and extremely sexily? Wish CJ would talk like that all the time but after constantly going over and over watching a little of the dvd not even "What have we just learned?" is said in the same chocolatey dark smooth way. Sends shivers brrrrrrr!!

cjwoof - oooh the restaurant scene. I love that soooooo much. I adore the way he leans down to kiss her. Please don't do this to me - I am at work and am a professional person. I do not lust after fictional characters 20 years younger than me.

It's the look in his face when she goes off in the helicopter that gets me. It's so.... Anguished...please stay...deep breath of ok she's going I can do this and then when he finds out she went to Newport and you can see it his face- he's devastated that she has (in his mind) hooked up with Smurf

I watched the Boots On The Ground before and they said that BA brought out things in CJ they didn't see in the script- it's those deep breaths, looks, lip bite he does

The restaurant scene has totally grown on me, wasn't keen at first. And although he never speaks I love the very last scene. His look of pure joy is fab!

Thanks for the link to the What If story. Really enjoying it. I love all these permutations of the OG story. I've said this before but I'd happily watch any number of OG storylines starring CJ. What about a CJ television channel, dedicated to dramas featuring him in various uniforms/plotlines/naked wrestling positions?

I liked the bit on Boots on the Ground where one of the producers (was it Mr Phillipson, can't recall now) says Ben is a very handsome guy .... it makes me laugh, just because it hardly needs to be said!!

The restaurant scene is an all-time fave. His voice is super delicious and he does some top quality tongue rolling/mouth twitching. It could only be bettered if he was wearing combats and that sandy coloured top I like (his shoulders look particularly nice in that).

orphan are these the famous shoulders my friend from across the road thinks are far too boney? I'd give them a try, that's for sure!

My favourite bit of the restaurant scene is the bit where he says "my parents are at Lake Garda. The house is empty" and then the "did it work?" He's just so desperate to get her into bed.

pixie that bit of the restaurant scene you mention, even better than "the house is empty" and "Well, did it work?" is the look on his face. It's not only lust but to my mind ever so slight apprehension that she might say no. Perhaps I've just seen it so many times that I am reading too much into it.

Oh if only he could be there at Bailbrook House to say that to me. Too bloody right it would work for me!

The FF What If is really good, M rated as well.... So more to look forward to I hope.

I'm not sure about it. I only have the DVD, am trying something though.

But for now youtube would be the better option

Can we have "I'm not letting you out of my sight" and "come here" outside his quarters, I love those bits (and all the others you've already mentioned). No pressure icemist. :) maybe ill just go watch episode 4 again!! I finally opened my dvd today and watched the whole of episode 1 :) :) :)
