onefor/onlygirl sorry for the mix up with names. Put it down to first day back at work! I was trying to respond quickly and it never pays off! Looks as if I wasn't the only one though....

onlygirl just had to read your final chapter as soon as I got home. Thankfully, the tea was made last night and just needed heating through again. It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. You should be thrilled with the responses you have received. I hope the writer's block doesn't last long. We need more!

Just going to look at Twitter. At least on here we are more of a team, don't you think? No "I" in team and all that.... Going to re-read the FB Anonymous Q&A from TG before coming up with any questions.

I tweeted her back 'If it takes being rude...' she's not replied. I wasn;t the only one to pl her up on it either.

I do wish we could quote previous posts on here, would it make it so much easier to reply to questions etc

icemist, cherin and anyone else who understands Twitter much more than me, I've been on and had a look. Tell me, are some of these women pretty mad? It makes our thread seem ultra sensible. I feel cosy and safe on here! (And I mean that in the very nicest way). They are certainly single minded, that's for sure.

onlygirl Wow! Awesome yet again! Absolutely loved it .... Going to make sure kids are asleep then reading again (yes, yet again left them to their own devises ... Couldn't wait!!)

And for the majority all they tweet about is getting a second series. Some are quite funny and take the pee...has been tweets along the Misery storyline, with BA being allowed to tweet today. but some, I really would have blocked them by now if I was TG,BA or Danny Cohen

Thank you ladies, for your lovely comments re final chapter. Just realised I have written almost 40k words in the space of 2.5 weeks! And enjoyed it! Will def do some more, just need to get my nut straight before I do it.

The more I look at twitter, the more I think that BA should have stayed quiet. Some people are just plain batshit crazy.

(I do realise the irony of that statement given that I've just confessed to writing a short, novel length, smut filled ff about two tv characters, one of whom I'm obsessed with, but stiiiiill. Even more batshit crazy than me.)

PS ilove I had to do a double take at the name mixup. I for one wish I was writing from real life experience with my story!!!

Poor BA - guess he was damned if he did and damned if he didn't but I would hate to succumb to pressure like that. Keeping quiet is far more tantalising in my opinion. I wonder if he took advice from his PR people before doing anything?

I couldn't quite make out which of the tweeters is claiming credit for it though?

Remember I said we did a sale of unwanted Christmas presents at work to support a local charity? We had so much stuff brought in today (well, there are 500 of us in the building) that we ended up starting it earlier than planned. My egg cup was generally agreed to be the worst present so far donated!! There were some quite decent things though including a couple of bottles of alcohol, a Christmas cake, a very nice jewellery box and some of those cookery gift sets - oils, vinegars etc.

Just seen that the FB lot have decided to inundate LT now with daily tweets! All the more reason for the cast to go underground I reckon.
On another note, DH said to me today "Your Our Girl DVD was in the player today so I watched the first ten minutes or so. It was ok I suppose". I feel a bit miffed about that actually! Mostly cos he watched it when I wasn't there, and also I feel a bit of ownership over CJ, so I wanted to be there when they first met. (I am actually aware of how insane I sound). I don't actually mind him watching it, I don't think, but he's promised to watch it with me. Just doesn't feel right to have my adored dvd to be picked up and watched by other family members willy nilly!!
Anyway, such good reports on involved that I'm saving it till bedtime. And thats DEFINITELY just for me!

Mmmhmm, it's not a bad thing to share, let me tell you....it's quite inspiring....;-)

I think personally that BA tweeted a very sweet response, he shifted the attention from himself to the "team" by referring to the 2 section and that's commendable. Even if the result is that now a bunch of mad hatters are pestering the others ;-)
Having said so, I am not really a twitter person and I don't think the character limit allows any proper, meaningful communication. It's just for slogans, jokes and potential misunderstanding. But that's me. :-)

Thanks icemist. As self-confessed obsessed as we are on here, they seem to take it to a whole new level. I've never really taken too much interest in their ramblings before, probably because I have never really got the hang of Twitter properly so I was quite surprised at what they actually write about. It made me cringe a bit if I'm honest.

Do you realise as well that since Saturday, we have written 11 pages! I think it's all the confessions re the ff that have spurred us on.

I'm not a massive user really, although I do like it and sometimes you do get spats between celebs- especially late at night. And it did help me figure out all those weeks ago that BA would be filming for Reign- and I did email the right production company, they just never emailed me back.

I think the best thing is the blue tick, then you know it really is who they say they are. And its worst -horrible posts at times from people to others, are anonymous although, action is taken a lot of the time if you report it.

Had to check when I joined it- Feb 2009, didnt think it had been that long!

I've been lurking on the Musketeers thread... I need to know how they have posted the gifs as that would be so cool. I am going to investigate further

I had a little lurk on the Musketeers thread too. Hasten to add, will not be joining in as I couldn't understand what they were talking about. They seem to be on something like thread 75? I think they must have been talking for over a year!! Like the title though - Swagger Inn!! I remember who mentioned the Musketeers first before CJWoof became our cutlass bearer, because I saw her name on there - I believe it was Lyndie! Are you still out there?

Feel like I ought to get into Musketeers but I am so far behind watching the things I already like, and I didn't get into the episode the other day, probably best I don't!!

The rate we are going at the mo, and the fact that there is no sign of decompression for a lot of us, I reckon we'll be here a while .... Anyway, just feels like I'm chatting with a bunch of mates!!

Just seen I've missed Broadchurch, will have to record on +1, anyone watching it?

Just watched it, gripped already. Requires a complete suspension of disbelief for the inaccuracies in the portrayal of the English legal system, but if you let go of that it was great.

And Olivia Coleman was, in the words of CJ, fucking awesome.

I never watched the first series. Can I start now or have I missed too much?
