Don't think the houses will impress him tbh

WingStalk · 23/01/2015 09:26

I feel sorry for the other wife in this one. She settled down with him under the presence that they'd move to Australia.

Very very easy for me to say but I wouldn't have had kids until we were back in Oz because she's now stuck in the UK if he decides to definitely stay.

Thing is he doesn't want to leave his family, full stop!

ShatnersBassoon · 23/01/2015 09:27

He absolutely doesn't want to move. He explained the engagement arrangement (that they'd move back to Australia to be with her parents) as if it was sprung on him after they'd already given their blessing for the marriage.

WingStalk · 23/01/2015 09:28

I missed the budget because I took so long writing my post Grin What was it?

Bakeoffcakes · 23/01/2015 09:29

My brother lives in that area, he also works in Perth. The train takes no time at all and is very cheap.

susiedaisy · 23/01/2015 09:29

This program is my new addiction.

Can't see him going. He seems determined to stay in the UK, and he's not really taking it in. He's already decided that he hates it all.

I feel sorry for her...if she started a family with him thinking that he'd move, it's really unfair to say that he won't even consider it now. His whole "her family v my family" thing very much suggested he wasn't prepared to lose.

hugoagogo · 23/01/2015 09:29

I feel for her, I think he should give it a try if at all possible- not sure he will though.

susiedaisy · 23/01/2015 09:30

One of them is going to be full of resentment

susiedaisy · 23/01/2015 09:30

Wow he's not budging is he!

susiedaisy · 23/01/2015 09:32

Ooh maybe he's budging a tiny bitGrin

DreamingOfAHotDrink · 23/01/2015 09:32

Poor girl, he is always right!

susiedaisy · 23/01/2015 09:33

Yuck don't like that house far too palactial

MuddhaOfSuburbia · 23/01/2015 09:33

missed the start!

did he pinky promise they'd go?

ClaimedByMe · 23/01/2015 09:34

I would be a nervous wreck having a toddler in the 3rd house!

susiedaisy · 23/01/2015 09:34

Pretty much mudda she was always upfront with her plan to move back to Australia

InfinitySeven · 23/01/2015 09:35

Why do they take them to properties nearly £200,000 over budget?! It seems a bit mean.

susiedaisy · 23/01/2015 09:35

Property 2was lovely

ShatnersBassoon · 23/01/2015 09:36

I don't know if he did promise. He described it as if it was an assumption all of her family had made, and after they got engaged they sort of told him that's what they were expecting.

MuddhaOfSuburbia · 23/01/2015 09:36

then boo him

god their budget huuuuuge and they look dead young

susiedaisy · 23/01/2015 09:36

The house vote is the easiest one though.

Vagndidit · 23/01/2015 09:36

He's not going without a fight, for sure. Have to agree re:kids. Not sure I would have had a child with him until I was back in Oz.
