Muddha She moved to the UK with her familyas a young teen and was always honest with him that she wanted to go back to Oz.

Her two sisters have already gone back, her parents are still in UK but would go back if she did.

susiedaisy · 23/01/2015 09:39

His expression constantly looks like he has his judgey pants on tight. Really tight!!

DreamingOfAHotDrink · 23/01/2015 09:40

He is not on very much for working in the city if he would earn more in Australia.

susiedaisy · 23/01/2015 09:41

Good grief her part time wage is good

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 23/01/2015 09:42

Shocked at their budget! Feel like such an underachiever watching this. I could afford a surf shack at that age!

InfinitySeven · 23/01/2015 09:42

Her part-time wage was impressive.

What does he do that he couldn't do over there? I missed that bit.

DreamingOfAHotDrink · 23/01/2015 09:42

She can't move until the child is 18, if she left him, as he wouldn't let her. I would feel trapped and unhappy if I were her.

sailorsgal · 23/01/2015 09:42

He doesn't earn that much for a house budget of 600 grand. He did mention they would need a mortgage.

Lois I was feeling the sameGrinGrin my full time wage isn't even close to her part time wage

sailorsgal · 23/01/2015 09:44

wow way over what they thought.

Vagndidit · 23/01/2015 09:44

Wonder if they've been heavily funded by the Bank of Mum and Dad...which may explain why he's so keen to stick around in Uk.

susiedaisy · 23/01/2015 09:44

Ha ha that's shut him up

DreamingOfAHotDrink · 23/01/2015 09:45

I think her parents will give them money if they move.

susiedaisy · 23/01/2015 09:45

Oh look he's smiling that's his get out card.

susiedaisy · 23/01/2015 09:46

Ha. Good for her. Smile

MuddhaOfSuburbia · 23/01/2015 09:47

I get the feeling that if they DO go he's going to just sulk, like, forever

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 23/01/2015 09:47

Hmmm yes what is holding him back? Maybe the weeping relatives will shed some light!

susiedaisy · 23/01/2015 09:47

He's pissing me off

MuddhaOfSuburbia · 23/01/2015 09:48

ugh I nearly bought Nicky Popidol's frock in the the boden sale ugh

susiedaisy · 23/01/2015 09:49

He just hasn't got the guts to go there's no big secret I don't think, he just can't be assed.

DreamingOfAHotDrink · 23/01/2015 09:49

I don't think it is family holding him back at all, he seems quite cold. I think it is control and what ever it is he gets from his career.

MuddhaOfSuburbia · 23/01/2015 09:50

thing is, if you marry someone from the other side of the world, you're going to have to expect to suck it up and move sometime, at least for a bit

I think he's being dead unreasonable

Vagndidit · 23/01/2015 09:50

I suspect he's used to getting what he wants.

ShatnersBassoon · 23/01/2015 09:50

I feel quite sorry for him. He's being honest. He's not interested in giving up a job and life he loves, leaving his family and moving to the other side of the world for £8k more a year. I can't say I blame him.
