Why do would you think you could move half way round the world to be a tree surgeon without any qualifications. Bonkers!

It was interesting to see a couple with a smaller budget but predictably its too expensive to emigrate if you don't have a decent budget. I still don't get why they can't change jobs in the uk!

I was surprised with their final vote. Thanks for the update-I couldn't find one.

According to the FB page, they spent a while travelling round NZ in a campervan and realised how lonely it would be and are now trying to improve their situation in the UK. He is trying to spend more time with their DS and they are having another baby.

askyfull I'm not exactly a raging patriot but is the uk so bad?! Even though I'm fricken freezing up here in Scotland I don't see the appeal if you aren't going to be massively better off. New Zealand is stunning though.
