Is anyone watching this? The epitome of car crash TV .... oh my god it's excruciating ..... eeeeeek!

Lol nomdeplume - 'that giant woman'. Have to afgre though.

NomDePlume · 04/10/2006 09:22

Even DH said the shoes were horrific.

Orlando · 04/10/2006 09:34

(Orlando in philosophical mood this morning...)

Doesn't matter what either of them were wearing. The tragically obvious fact is that she doesn't love him. She finds him irritating and drippy and a turn off, and the shiniest Italian pimp shoes in the world won't change that. End of.

Note to T&S-- fashion is fun, but it won't save a marriage. Get on the phone to your agent now and start talking about the next idea.

Enid · 04/10/2006 09:35

dh MADE me watch

it was repulsive

what a ridiculoyus idea

please no more

NOMurDErousPLUME · 04/10/2006 09:37

The look on her face when he kissed her having forced her wedding ring back onto her finger.... Plain as the nose on yer face that she finds him repugnant.

CheesyFeetcomingtoGETyou · 04/10/2006 09:46

Susannah looked ridiculous

The wrist licking made me want to vom

The couple are clearly only still together because they feel they should stay together for the kids. She doesn't love him, and she wants a good screw from someone else.

I felt sorry for them when they were talking about her one night stand and T&S cut over them saying they weren't marriage counsellors, they were there to sort their clothes out. wtf?

badkarma · 04/10/2006 09:47

I thought the same. It was plain as day she didn't want him anymore. Had he just had an affair, or a one night stand with someone? I saw the bit where she said she had, and he said he wanted to kick the man in the bollox.. as his wife was off her face at the time, she said that that's what he wanted to believe as he didn't want to think she didn't fancy him anymore. And come on, they both said they liked each others hands... I can think of lots more parts I love on my dh rather than his hands!!

FIMBOnABroomstick · 04/10/2006 09:57

My dh got up and walked out half way through. It was truly awful. The naked bit behind the screens was vomit inducing.

badkarma · 04/10/2006 09:58

He didn't actually look like someone that would turn me on. I didn't see the first bit of it, but dh told me that she said she married him 'cos his voice made her laugh???????

FIMBOnABroomstick · 04/10/2006 10:03

Lester reminded me of Melvin Hayes

brimfull · 04/10/2006 10:07

I agree the format of the show was ridiculous, but I did feel sympathy for the husband looking after two young autistic boys all day,and he's 54.

He must be knackered,he's the one that needed pampering and time to himself not her, she's at work flirting all day !

WTF was Susannah wearing? That vest thing over that top bleurrrrrrrgh.
That marriage was screwed, even at the end when her kissed her, she flinched as if repulsed.
Grim spectacle for tv, utterly grim.
Much better taking one person, lost their way fashion wise and sorting them out. it's uplifting and fun.
This was ugh

Fontofallknowledge · 04/10/2006 10:36

Couldn't believe what I was watching. How do they think a marriage as dead as that could be rescued by some nice clothes and a few highlights!

acnebrideofFrankenstein · 04/10/2006 11:49

I certainly thought it was bizarre that she got all the sympathy, when he was the one who was at home all day with 2 kids and had been faithful.

but i thought they might pull it out of the bag tbh (staying together I mean).

charliebat · 04/10/2006 11:50

I thought it was too late to rescue the sex side of the marriage. But they both looked better afterwards.

themoon666 · 04/10/2006 12:54

Is it repeated anywhere later in the week? I regret missing it now I've read all the comments on here. You all make it sound incredibly interesting.... giant women, handcuffs, wrist licking etc.

MadameMorticiaMills · 04/10/2006 14:26

Oh yes, the furry gilet. My dh swore at that (he never swears).
