Lisa is so wooden, she is definately trying to be trin and is completely charmless. Mica is ok i think. But what really annoys me, sitting here in my combats & fleece , is that all the clothes are far too glam, there was nothing practical for every day dashing around.

'what's not to wear'? hee hee. Not as if you can say 'what's not to like' about this one!

Say what you like about them (and I do see that the programme had many flaws) but WHATINGODSNAME has happened to What's Not to Wear?? I just watched it - whoe WERE those completely charmless presenters? What were the BBC thinking when they hired them? The white one in particular was so horrible, like a shop mannequin pretending to be Trinny. URGHHHHHH. And those brave, lovely women who were the people chosen - fancy having those two twits patronising you. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
Sorry to hijack, but does anyone else feel this way about the new programme - has there been a thread?

To me, it seemed as if when the couple first met, she went out with him because she felt sorry for him(as he was already getting on a bit, had not had many girlfriends etc) and he went out with her because he was desperate to find someone to settle down with, and she was young, reasonably attractive (at that age), and prepared to have him. So I don't think they were together for the right reasons. I don't think she really loved him, and I think he loved her in a way, but not sexually. I think it will take more than a new wardrobe and a few sex toys to bring those two together.

Dunno but this sounds yummy - "an enormous waffle accompanied by two scoops of vanilla ice cream and liberally sprinkled with Dime Bar shavings."

Is it repeated anywhere later in the week? I regret missing it now I've read all the comments on here. You all make it sound incredibly interesting.... giant women, handcuffs, wrist licking etc.

I thought it was too late to rescue the sex side of the marriage. But they both looked better afterwards.

I certainly thought it was bizarre that she got all the sympathy, when he was the one who was at home all day with 2 kids and had been faithful.

but i thought they might pull it out of the bag tbh (staying together I mean).

Couldn't believe what I was watching. How do they think a marriage as dead as that could be rescued by some nice clothes and a few highlights!

WTF was Susannah wearing? That vest thing over that top bleurrrrrrrgh.
That marriage was screwed, even at the end when her kissed her, she flinched as if repulsed.
Grim spectacle for tv, utterly grim.
Much better taking one person, lost their way fashion wise and sorting them out. it's uplifting and fun.
This was ugh

I agree the format of the show was ridiculous, but I did feel sympathy for the husband looking after two young autistic boys all day,and he's 54.

He must be knackered,he's the one that needed pampering and time to himself not her, she's at work flirting all day !
