Can you tell I am excited? Grin

I have five words.

DO. NOT. KILL. THE. BABY.

Or Glenn.
However please feel free to kill off annoying soppy Beth. Quickly.

I think he killed people the way Rick "killed" the hitchhiker...by not helping them. I think he barred himself in that church and let people get eaten.

Boysclothes · 22/10/2014 23:16

Yes he def barred himself in.

I would really really like to see rick have proper down and dirty up-against-a-tree sex with someone. Just once. Just one time. That is NOT too much to ask.

CheerfulYank · 22/10/2014 23:20

I'm with you Boys. Preferably Michonne.

Boysclothes · 22/10/2014 23:26

Hmmm, not sure about that. Don't like the pairing up thing. I think a quickie encounter with a stranger would tick that box nicely.

CheerfulYank · 22/10/2014 23:39

I'm terrible with my couple-y wishes, no matter how unrealistic. :o But yes, Rick having sex with anyone against a tree would be fine.

Boysclothes · 22/10/2014 23:41

In the comics he has a thriving sex life. It's deeply unfair we've been denied the chance to experience that.

guaranteedpersonality · 23/10/2014 07:56

Boys that is the most perfect solution ever.

The thought of Michonne and Rick in a relationship does nothing for me in fact I hate the idea but a swiftly dispatched stranger could definitely work. Grin

I like Beth, I have no problem with their age gap in an apocalypse situation and I love Carol and Darryl's relationship but some of the awful attacks on both actresses/characters by both sides have turned me completely off the 'shipping. I don't want any relationships now. Even Sacha and Bob kissing is going too far. Smile

I did read something yesterday that I thought was interesting that the timelines in the shows this season aren't strictly linear so when Morgan came across Rick's sign it could have been months later not immediately afterwards.

oh and when Carol was by the car and Darryl found her (just before the 'ambulance' went by) did you think she was trying to run away or was she fixing it for the group? I just assumed she was fixing it as back up but it seems most people seem to think she was leaving?

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/10/2014 08:13

How did they get the car to work. Didn't turn over or was that a battery in the boot

Def think Bob got bitten in the water but then why didn't he turn Striaght away or get feverish - he's screwed now as can't run away even if he did escape

Preacher did look very clean. Ie his white collar was pristine - Prob is dodgy but least they got food without eating each other

JUDITH did great acting !!!!!

guaranteedpersonality · 23/10/2014 08:59

I think there was a battery in the back.

Judith did do a sterling job. Chad Coleman was on the Talking Dead the other night and said she was a right diva - always refusing to learn her lines. Grin

Boysclothes · 23/10/2014 12:19

I don't think the stranger should be dispatched, I don't want rick to be sad. What would be really good is if they kept coming across another friendly group but didn't actually join with them, and there was loads of simmering sexual tension built up over a few episodes, then tree sex, then the groups part off again but he sees her at least once a series for tree sex. I haven't thought about this at all, you understand, it just came to me this instant lies.

andsmile · 23/10/2014 14:52

Oh boys...I shall be waiting for said tree sex now youve put the idea in my head.

I still like the 'hot bad ass' as someone up thread said! Grin

ButterflySandwich · 23/10/2014 16:55

I'm trying not to follow this thread as I'm still catching up on series 4, I have about 4 episodes left! Love it!

Quick question - I thought that anyone who died turns? Michonne discovered a dead family in the nursery, they were just corpses. And Beth found a dead woman with "rich bitch" taped on her chest. Also a corpse and not a walker. Meanwhile 3 people had hung themselves and turned.

Does anyone know why that is?

Birra · 23/10/2014 17:25

Think the dead family in the nursery had killed themselves in a pact. Head shots, I looked away so can't be sure!
Rich bitch, I would guess strung up
And then killed- head shot
That's the only way they wouldn't come back

That was my question at the beginning, there were loads of corpses around
Still don't reaally get it

ButterflySandwich · 23/10/2014 17:43

Ah that would make sense Birra thanks x

CheerfulYank · 23/10/2014 18:19

guaranteed I like Beth too :) And if Carol weren't already there I don't think I'd have as big a problem with Daryl and Beth (though she is very young, I'm sure that would happen in the ZA, and it's a bit Hmm as she's so recently traumatized, but...). I just hate that Beth is automatically assumed to be the "better" partner because of her age and looks. And when people started wanting to pair them up, Beth hadn't shown any personality at all (it was still on the farm, a time when she was also underage). She just fell within the margins of stereotypical beauty most (since Maggie was "taken"). I hate that shit.

But, anyway! Blush

I am very curious to see how this Bob thing plays out!

BorisIsABitOfAGargoyle · 24/10/2014 00:03

I don't think Bob has much future in the show, and I think the immunity idea will throw up too many questions so I think they are following Dale's storyline from the comic books. I won't say anymore for spoilers but look up the Walking Dead Wiki if you want to know more. It seems to fit.
One thing that has been bugging me from having just caught up with Season 4 in preparation for 5 is the Daryl/Beth series where they both got drunk. I mean - really? Yeah, there's a ZA going on, we've just been separated from our pals and we're going to get drunk. Isn't that just asking for trouble? When I'm drunk I have trouble getting into bed let alone protecting my life from random walkers Hmm

Boysclothes · 24/10/2014 08:35

I think after two years in the ZA my question is why aren't they getting drunk more often? I mean the constant strain on the nerves, surely you'd think FUCK THIS more often and get blotto?

rallytog1 · 24/10/2014 09:01

The only thing about Bob that makes me wonder is that when he was first introduced, one of the producers said he was going to be very central to the future storylines of the show. I'm not sure why they'd have given him such a mysterious past if it wasn't going to come back and haunt him at some point. And I'm not sure that Dale's storyline is quite big enough for that. But equally it could be a red herring...

Either way, I am loving this series so far.

rallytog1 · 24/10/2014 09:01

Oh and yes, I would definitely be getting drunk after 2 years of survival in the ZA!

Midori1999 · 24/10/2014 09:43

I think Dale's storyline could be viewed as very central to the storyline, as it is also about Rick's evolution as a character and could also be about Abraham building more of a relationship with Rick too, (if Abraham is involved at all) as well as other characters.

Although I suppose the producers could have changed their mind too. I think If someone has to go then Bob is a good choice. I'm not sure who else I wouldn't mind seeing go. Except Beth, but she hasn't been on screen for a while anyway. I just don't miss her though.

CheerfulYank · 24/10/2014 15:17

I think someone big is going to get it this season. Like Glenn. :(

Midori1999 · 24/10/2014 15:50

Well there's been a big death rumoured for the mid season finale.

I think if Glen dies then he'll die near the end of the season, if they introduce Negan. I think the producers have said Negan won't be around until season 7, but maybe he will?

Midori1999 · 24/10/2014 15:51

Tbh too, I have to admit to bejng a bit bored of Glen and Maggie now. I mean, what do they actually do?

CheerfulYank · 24/10/2014 16:32

They say possibly one of the original Atlanta survivors. Since I think Rick, Carl, and possibly Daryl are bulletproof, it'd be Glenn or Carol. I love Glenn but I'd throw every damn person on the show under the bus to save Carol. :o

rallytog1 · 24/10/2014 16:34

I agree that Bob is the only one in wouldn't be too bothered about losing. I loved the way they picked off cast members without a second thought in the early few series, but I think from S4 onwards we've become too invested in a lot of the regulars now. The thought of any of them dying is difficult, and it seems like the producers feel the same, as we haven't lost any of the core cast for a while now...
