ikiboo I do that too!

Or when i'm in town i figure out where i'd run/how to get home if i suddenly started seeing zombie attacks.

AliOh · 08/11/2014 19:55

Really looking forward to tomorrow's episode Grin I think it will be all focused on the group that left for Washington though so we won't find out who is with daryl until next week Angry I'm pretty sure its Noah though.

Re the timeline I reckon episodes 4,5 & 6 are showing different groups at the same time and episode 6 will show ricks group back at the church - just a guess! Then episodes 7&8 will show a group going to the hospital to rescue carol and Beth Grin

Clarabumps · 08/11/2014 20:00

ikiboo and apocalypse I do that too!! I think it'd be a lot harder in this country as there are hardly any gun shops. I always watch WD and think there must be more arms than they seem to find in the programme. Everyone is dead for gods sake. Surely there would be guns all over the place?

Dp and I are driving up north and taking over one of the isles like Muck in the Inner hebrides. Easy enough to defend. Plenty of land, Not too big. That's our plan. Grin

BeyondPreparedForHell · 08/11/2014 20:08

I watched 28 days later again the other day, i always find british zombie films more interesting (and more relevant to us!) due to the lack of guns. Guns make it so simple for the americans, we have to think about how to destroy our zombies Wink

Clarabumps · 08/11/2014 20:18

very true beyond.28 weeks later is on sky just now as well. I forgot how good they were. Not as good as 28 days but still a good one. The WD zombies are a bit slow. I like the manic bit of the 28 days zombies. The WWZ zombies are the only zombies that I don't think you'd have a chance with.

BeyondPreparedForHell · 08/11/2014 22:20

Yeah i watched 28 days and 28 weeks on demand the other morning, one after the other, while the kids were at my mums Grin

I much prefer fast "rabies" zombies rather than those who are really dead and wandering around aimlessly. Just for being more possible. Fingers crossed i'm in cuba if theres a wwz outbreak though!

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 08/11/2014 22:57

We're out in the sticks. Most people out here have shotguns for rabbits and pigeons, or pheasants. We'd be ok. I might have to leave it to dh though, they're very heavy.

MargotLovedTom · 08/11/2014 23:08

The manic zombies in World War Z were hilarious, especially on the aeroplane. They were like the bloody minions when they go purple in DM2.

I miss the Governor Sad.

Dp works with concrete

DixieNormas I'd have him on board in so many ways - construction, burials...

Oh god those gnashing teeth zombies in World War Z give me the heebies. Especially near the end when Brad is in the room with the vaccines and there's one sniffing him through the glass... gnash, gnash... AAARGH!

Been meaning to jump in about the lady who died who's arm had been cut off - she definitely killed herself, there was a pair of scissors by her hand with 'fuck you' partially visible scrawled into the floor.

I always sing it in the supermarket too Limited Smile I do love The Clash. Though today I seem to have In the Jungle stuck in my head...cant think why AWimbaWay

I'm looking forward to this weeks episode - I want to find out more of Abraham's backstory. I am assuming Eugene is lying about having a cure. Is everyone else?

I think all the police officers in the hospital were rapists or felt some sense of entitlement over who they rescued (like Dawn had Noah) Dawn said something like it kept them motivated to work hard for the 'good' and Gorman was especially pissed off Beth was 'given' to the Dr because he felt she was his and presumably because he had lost Joan.

AliOh · 09/11/2014 09:38

id say your right about Eugene guaranteed. I haven't read the comics but I know enough about what is going to happen Grin

PaulaAtMummyKnowsBest · 09/11/2014 09:44

My DS1 (14) plays a game called plague on his iPad. Greenland is always the last to get the plague. So maybe that's where we all need to head to? (Canada does quite well too)

Am I the only hoping the gang all make it to the hospital for a good scrub? Daryl would look much nicer if he wasn't so greasy looking

AliOh · 09/11/2014 10:19

I've just read the advance preview for tonight's episode, sounds very good Grin

BeyondPreparedForHell · 09/11/2014 10:42

I have plague (im a bit obsessed) its a fantastic game. Madagascar are also good at avoiding things, nicer climate there Grin

IdaBlankenship · 09/11/2014 14:35

DH and I have a zombie survival plan, it only works with the slow shuffling WD zombies who can't climb stairs though.
We figure if it's the WWZ zombies, there's no point having a plan - just get very drunk and wait for the inevitable. It doesn't seem so bad to be eaten by WWZ zombies as you turn as soon as you are bitten, so not a long lingering slowly-chomping your innards type death that the WD zombies give you.

starsandunicorns · 09/11/2014 16:34

Just watched 3 esps in a row so can catch up on here

Also has plague game yy to Madagascar

FannyFifer · 09/11/2014 16:38

Can someone please please tell me where I can watch season one, doesn't seem to be on either Sky or Netflix, I watched first episode & loved it. Help! Grin

BeyondPreparedForHell · 09/11/2014 16:41

Watchseries or cokeandpopcorn are my choice of slightly less legal sites. Or they would be, if i partook in such an activity...

limitedperiodonly · 09/11/2014 16:53

I saw a lovely 3-D documentary about lemurs narrated by Morgan Freeman (obviously) which posited the theory that hundreds of thousands of years ago, Madagascar broke off from the continent of Africa and a bunch of proto-lemurs hitched a ride there on a log.

There were no predators or any other living thing except birds, flying insects or plants on the lush island and they evolved into many species of lemurs that had one thing in common - that they are seriously cute.

It was paradise and then humans moved in a few thousand years ago. Just like the walkers Sad.

I think there are Rick and Carol lemurs fighting a rearguard action on Mad-a- gas-CAR as Morgan pronounces it.

EpitomeOfFrump · 09/11/2014 17:07

series one was being shown on lovefilm if you have amazon prime.

FannyFifer · 09/11/2014 17:30

Will check out those sites that you most definitely did not recommend Beyond, cheers.

Nope don't have amazon prime or Love Film, godammit!

Thanks folks.
