Oh, okay. So when I said "Capt James (as a character) is a bastard and ladees shouldn't be taken in by a pretty face" - then that was actually a perfectly legitimate point, because I was talking about Capt James, although I was made to believe otherwise.). And I'm not permitted to talk about the programme in general. And I can't refer to him by his RL name either.
Would someone (Smurfin) please be so kind as to provide a list of rules, telling us lay-people what discussions we may or may not be permitted to join in with. And is there an unwritten rule as to how accurate a drama is, before it becomes a soap-opera, and are we allowed to pass comment on that (at the moment, it seems not) and are we permitted to say if we think an actor is good, or not?
This all seems a little complicated for a supposed 'friendly' chat about a crap Sunday evening drama, which I believe was intended to be based (largely) on fact. I used to look forward to a Sunday evening settling down to a good drama - seems a shame if we're not allowed to discuss it unless discussions conform with certain "Secret 7" -type club rules.
Downton Abbey, here I come. (Oh no! - holds head in hands)
I'll leave you to your hormones
