Can't wait to see this series. The DC interviewing the man for conspiracy to murder reminds me of David Brent though....

OP posts:

That solictor is crap, "he's given a detailed statement"... Errr, no he said "no comment"

And that officer. Apparently he has been on holiday recently... I didn't catch where.

I did LOL at "squeeze the cock of justice", though

PinkSquash · 29/09/2014 22:12

This is just like a really shit episode of The Bill.

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 29/09/2014 22:13

DH pointed that out too, shggg

Sparklingbrook · 29/09/2014 22:13

Ricky Gervais went to Vegas.

PinkSquash · 29/09/2014 22:14

The DC came across really badly in it. He's wearing a Creamfields lanyard and seems to want to tell everyone he's been on holiday. No one really cared though, Grin

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 29/09/2014 22:15

Did he, sparkling? He didn't mention it Grin

Sparklingbrook · 29/09/2014 22:15

The solicitors crappy personalised plate. Grin

Sparklingbrook · 29/09/2014 22:17

He speaks!

lyndie · 29/09/2014 22:17

It's fascinating watching. I cannot believe he was not guilty!

Sparklingbrook · 29/09/2014 22:17

He looks ten years older.

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 29/09/2014 22:18

Well, he was found not guilty

shggg245 · 29/09/2014 22:18

I genuinely thought this was a spoof at first. I always wanted to be in CID as well. Defendent has lost some weight hasn't he?

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 29/09/2014 22:18

He looks skinnier

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 29/09/2014 22:19

Less bulk suits him

Sparklingbrook · 29/09/2014 22:19

No comment is the way to go. It works.

mausmaus · 29/09/2014 22:19

'beyond reasonable doubt' for sure

MamOfTwo · 29/09/2014 22:20

Did you clock the slight raised eyebrows when he read out the verdicts and got to 'Not guilty'?! Fascinating programme!

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 29/09/2014 22:20

I know editing can make things look like different and I have no idea of the evidence presented in court, but based on the interview footage, I am gobsmacked he was found not guilty.

CurlyWurlyCake · 29/09/2014 22:20

Eh, which guy died in custody?

Ledkr · 29/09/2014 22:21

Someone died in custody while filming that show.

Mrmonkey · 29/09/2014 22:22

Found not guilty is not the same as innocent! It's just the jury saying they can't say beyond reasonable doubt he is guilty.

thoughtsbecomethings · 29/09/2014 22:22

Sorry totally got the wrong programme have asked for my post to be deleted.

rockybalboa · 29/09/2014 22:22

The cock of justice is brilliant. I'm a lawyer (not a criminal one) and I want one to squeeze every time I get a good result! Grin

DinoSnores · 29/09/2014 22:22

I've got an incredibly laid back friend who is a police officer. He's a big chap but incredibly mild mannered, and I think that must be a pretty terrifying combination if you were a criminal. He'd just look at you in very calm silence and then I'd need to confess everything!

shggg245 · 29/09/2014 22:27

I'd confess anyway. I just look guilty. I once rang the police and confessed to having a near miss accident!
