I just cant bear another drawn out mystery! We already have the lucy mystery, the alfie arson secret, the nick Charlie secret and now this. Its just becoming a big mess of unresolved drawn out plots.

I'm predicting Mick will find out at Christmas which will prompt Shirley to confess her secret - that him and Dean are brothers. Presumably Alfie's secret will come out then also. So another cheerily festive week in Eastenders is coming up.

Xmas is never ever cheery in E E , maybe one lot will be ok. Others will be fighting and wailing over the Turkey for the whole holiday season..

I really I am hating this story it's horrible poor Linda her mother is weird I don't like her at all. Emma is a rubbish character saving her Ex what's that about

With regards to Mick working it out- her reaction to him trying to touch her intimately spoke volumes in my opinion. She was truly distressed. Teamed with everything else and her reaction with dexter asking nancy if he had hurt her, Mick surely must question whether someone has hurt her

Does anybody else think that Aunt Babe could be Shirleys mum ? She seems very protective and emotional towards Shirley much more thsn the others.

Yeah the touchy feely was weird can't imagine my dh grabbing my mums bum lindas mum has that brassy barmaid thing going on. Aunt babe is possesive not maternal she is a scary lady

Maybe Stan and Babe had Shirley and passed her of as Stan and his wifes. But then its to similar to the Mick and Shirley storyline.

Babe was on the phone to somewhere before shirley came into her house. Saying she couldnt come up yet, it sounded like a nursing home(?) Then shirley poibted out candle, I think, that was sitting in babes and said they were what her mum used to buy.
Ive only been watching in the past year so dont know shirleys story. But it sounded like vabe is hiding something.
