Ah, thank you. So Dean was in prison, I didn't know that.

I hope Ronnie gets to keep her baby this time, don't think I can face another crisis for her on that front! Was not impressed with Charlie's 'I didn't sign up for this' last night - um, I think you did Charlie!

cogitosum · 10/10/2014 20:12

Love Nancy

cogitosum · 10/10/2014 20:15

Stacey NOOO

cogitosum · 10/10/2014 20:26

I actually find the whole family really convincing. Although I had a dream that lee killed Lucy and then tried to kill me so I'm now scared of him.

MrsCK · 10/10/2014 20:28

Who was that on the bench?

SilveryMoon · 10/10/2014 20:54

WTF Max?

Mrsjayy · 10/10/2014 23:00

Urgh max going to set Ian or charlie up then , I love Nancy she is a sweet girl no dramas or whinging

jaynebxl · 10/10/2014 23:07

The bloke watching Peter and Lauren looked really familiar but I can't think who he was.

HesMyLobster · 10/10/2014 23:27

I thought he looked familiar too - it's the eyes! Can't place him though.

Southeastdweller · 11/10/2014 15:52

I loathe Ronnie.

She has a weird obsession with protecting her sister, she indirectly threw out Kat and Alfie from the Vic last year even though Kat forgave her for swapping their babies and making Kat think her own baby died, and then Kat helped ease Ronnie back into the square and so far Ronnie's got away with killing Carl.

I wanted to cheer the other night when Charlie told her politely she can do one. Because he knows what she is - damaged goods that any man in his right mind knows is good for sleeping with only.

Feel so much better now that's off my chest Grin

I think

That man was a police man involved in Lucys murder investigation early on?

I don't understand why Max told the police about him and Emma? Confused

oldgnome · 12/10/2014 00:32

Might be Max wants her to get thrown off the Beale's case so that they can be 'togevvor'
Could it also be that it strengthens his position with regards to the case (something Ian said)

i'm OK with being nasty about a fictional character.

jaynebxl · 12/10/2014 09:08

Even if that affects how a real person similarly "damaged" may feel?

Pyjamaramadrama · 12/10/2014 09:19

I did think that comment about 'damaged goods' and 'only good for sleeping with', was a bit off.

Particularly when speaking an albeit fictional character who has been raped by her father and lost 2 children and a pregnancy.

But then I don't buy into the idea that women are pieces of meat there for men's sexual pleasure whether damaged or not.

Southeastdweller · 12/10/2014 09:54

I don't buy into anyone being pieces of meat there for anyone's sexual pleasure in real life. I don't think the same opinions necessarily apply when discussing a fictional character.

oldgnome · 12/10/2014 11:33

It's usually a term (not one I like!) that's used to describe somebody who has been damaged by sexual, physical, emotional abuse etc

I think the Ronnie character is abusive and controlling in her own way, however, and not a bit likeable. And I dislike those overdone eyebrows! They don't suit her at all

bleedingheart · 12/10/2014 18:15

I know it's not real but I just want Ronnie to have some happiness. I admire how she's still going after all she's been through.

I know Sharon has her own problems and hasn't known Linda for very long but anyone could see she was in deep distress when asking about someone 'going too far.' I just want to hug her.

Nancy is lovely.

ByeByeButterfly · 12/10/2014 18:30

Honestly I'd be careful how you put things South someone could be a victim of abuse and read what you wrote and misinterpret it about themselves.

After all she may be a fictional character but she's human and female and the fact someone can feel that way about another human being is pretty disgusting imho, even if fictional.

But hey ho...

I don't really get Charlie, he's a bit confusing. Is he good or bad?

I felt sorry for Dean up til the pound he came up behind Linda and attacked her. Now I'm thinking he came out with that emotional piece to get Linda in a vulnerable position - he doesn't seem too upset now about his mother, does he?

Him asking for a repeat performance on Thursday's episode made me really angry and want to punch him know he's not real, but really smarmy.

I found Linda talking about being with only one person with Sharon/Mick really heartbreaking too because now obviously she hasn't just been with one person, though not due to her own doing - it really touched a nerve somehow.

I don't find Sharon and Phil's relationship at all convincing. They seem to just want to one up on each other like they said in the hospital--what's the point in that kind of relationship?

Nancy and Johnny both seem like really nice kids. Mixed feelings about Lee.
