Dean did nt shag tosh they had a turkey baster to hand

Pyjamaramadrama · 05/10/2014 21:34

What I found strange is, Tosh had only just had a miscarriage, I'm sure it was only days before if that. Surely she'd still be bleeding very unlikely she'd have ovulated already to get pregnant.

Southeastdweller · 05/10/2014 22:44

The new male cast member is Asian so that's not the mystery man and I can't see why Jake would come back when he wasn't bothered much by Lauren when he was there.

My money's on Steven Beale but the chap on Friday looked at least 35 and Stephen is mid 20's. Then again, having Steven return would tie in with Jane coming back which is confirmed.

bleedingheart · 06/10/2014 11:15

When the armed police turned up and Lee had to say 'This just got serious!' I burst out laughing. The actor looked like he wanted to as well.

Did we only see the eyes and fetching green bomber jacket of the new person as I wasn't looking at the screen at the time? He did look mid30s to me from the brief bit I saw.

I'd rather they just forgot about Steven like they have with Zoe. An occasional mention but no more angst and moaning.

Karl Howman is coming into it too isn't he? Who will he play? Mick's dad?

Southeastdweller · 06/10/2014 16:33

That's all we saw bleeding.

I was trying to figure out who Karl Howman would play and him being Mick's dad would work well.

ilovechristmas1 · 06/10/2014 18:03

i really am not looking forward to tonights episode with Linda

NuggetofPurestGreen · 06/10/2014 20:29

Haven't been watching this in ages so not really clear what's going on. However i really wish they'd stop expecting us to believe that two women would be fighting over Phil The Spud.

bleedingheart · 06/10/2014 20:32

That was difficult to watch.

cheshcat · 06/10/2014 20:36

Poor Linda! So horrific!

SnakeyMcBadass · 06/10/2014 20:37

Hated that. HATED it. It felt cheap and flippant and done purely for ratings. Hideous.

MrsCK · 06/10/2014 20:43

Really did not enjoy that. :(

I think however they had done it would have come across like that though.

bleedingheart · 06/10/2014 20:43

I think there is enough going on with that family and I'm not sure that we needed this too.
It was horrible.

BastardGoDarkly · 06/10/2014 20:52

Just watched it, it was awful :(

I didn't think it came across as flippant.

SnakeyMcBadass · 06/10/2014 20:58

Maybe flippant is the wrong word. Cynical? A crude and desperate attempt to shock? It just felt...nasty. We went from Dean being vulnerable and distraught to being a rapist. I really, really hated it. I haven't been raped, thankfully, and I still felt anxious and upset by it.

Southeastdweller · 06/10/2014 20:59

That was chillingly done, especially seeing Linda lying there on the table frozen, like a corpse or a piece of meat Sad. Nothing about it came across as flippant to me. A disturbing episode but it had to be.

LemonBreeland · 06/10/2014 20:59

I really wish they hadn't done this storyline too.

Has anyone else seen the new trailer. Denise unearthing Lucys purse and phone, Nasty Nick back, Kat upset at Alfie, Babe talking about secrets. All kinds.

LemonBreeland · 06/10/2014 21:02

I agree SouthEastDweller that it was chilling, but quite well done I thought.

BastardGoDarkly · 06/10/2014 21:03

I still think that estate agent that worked with Lucy (was it Dan?) Killed her.

I wasn't surprised at Dean, he's a dark character Angry

SilveryMoon · 06/10/2014 21:11

Just watching now. Really want Linda to tell Mick

SuchSweetSorrow · 06/10/2014 21:20

Was very hard to watch.

Think it will be a long time until it comes out, especially if it Is true about the pregnancy

Mrsjayy · 06/10/2014 21:21

Poor LINDA that was horrific viewing I thought, I dont understand how it could happen like that why did he do it. He went from distraught to rape

Redcoats · 06/10/2014 21:24

OMFG what a horrible episode. I'd forgotten The spoiler so wasnt expecting it. Poor Linda.

Re Lucy. I'm switching my money over to max. He's currently on Strictly which is where EE people go when they're about to leave/have just left. Case closed, m'lud.

Steven - is he the one who shot Jane in the stomach? I thought he was dead.

LemonBreeland · 06/10/2014 21:28

SuchSweetSorrow the pregnancy is true. That was also in the new spoiler trailer.

RubbishTiming · 06/10/2014 21:28

I have only just started getting back into EE after several years off.

I think tonight with Linda was very well done. Shocking. But that is what rape is - shocking. Dean has obviously had feelings for Linda for a long time, but I think that was about power. He felt emasculated as his mother had once again deserted him, not thinking that his efforts were good enough, and then Linda told him that she had maternal instincts towards him. He wanted her, but more than that he wanted the power of taking her.
