What's your all-time favourite TV theme tune?

Inspired by the passing of James Garner, as The Rockford Files had a pretty cool theme tune composed by Mike Post (who also wrote the Hill Street Blues and A-Team themes, amongst others).

For me, it has be a tie between The Littlest Hobo & (despite it's rather dodgy lyrics) The Fall Guy. Oh, and the lovely sweeping orchestral piece that Granada used to play at closedown (remember those?!) in the 1980s.

Not a programme sig tune but I love the piano music used for the ad for BBC4, it's called Il Giorno.

Mara2 I remember the van dear Valk program just, was the music called Eye Level or ssomething like that? It was very catchy.

Has anyone seen Mouk on Disney Junior? It's pretty dire, but the theme tune is SO good I find myself singing it all day long

There was a TV series about David Lloyd George that had a very haunting theme that I can't remember the name of.

The Darling Buds of May always made me feel cosy and happy.

Black Beauty is the only music that makes me want to run somewhere like the wind, fetlocks flowing, handbag jigging up and down, boobs everywhere.
