What's your all-time favourite TV theme tune?

Inspired by the passing of James Garner, as The Rockford Files had a pretty cool theme tune composed by Mike Post (who also wrote the Hill Street Blues and A-Team themes, amongst others).

For me, it has be a tie between The Littlest Hobo & (despite it's rather dodgy lyrics) The Fall Guy. Oh, and the lovely sweeping orchestral piece that Granada used to play at closedown (remember those?!) in the 1980s.

The A team

I liked Hawaii 5-0 and also most of the cowboy themes from the seventies but my all-time favourite has to be Galloping Home from Black Beauty - never fails to reduce me to tears, especially when the horse whinnies right at the end!

I never realised Jonathan Creek was a classical piece until it came on Melody and I thought 'Why is DS watching Jonathan Creek?!'. I think it was either Berlioz or Saint-Saens. Carnivale something rings a bell.
