At the start of Morello's episode we see her wake up, with her hair twisted in loo roll, and a patch between her eyebrows to stop her frowning in her sleep. Those ones!

Also i am wondering what the point was of fisher overhearing the phone conversation where she found out Diaz was pregnant. It seemed to be leading somewhere but was never touched on again, fisher was sacked (which i also found sudden) and then bennett told capote about the pregnancy himself to frame pornstache. So what was the point of fisher finding out? Was there a reason that actress left suddenly?

Yes I wondered about that too Silly I wonder if she will use it against Capote in S3 for firing her? Seeing as he wants it hushed up...

Ooooh good thinking! Hadnt thought of that. I just thiught she was gone for good but i suppose pornstache came back. Maybe she'll blackmail capote to get her job back- and then end up in prison for blackmail-

I love Daya's mum even although she's a horrible piece of work. I am interested (although also quite afraid of watching) her labour and birth and how she is treated.

Was thinking today they will have to expand on the minor characters as well, so the two yokels in laundry will have background stories. Actually thinking about it, there are two sub stories from each race we haven't really seen - hispanic/black/white and of course So-So will have flashes to chaining herself to a tree and Meadow will become a character too. Anyone wonder if Meadow is actually a Piper/Alex story waiting to come out?

Have I missed the plan about Daya's baby's DNA test? I assume there will be one as even if Capote stays schtum the court would request it wouldn't they? Due to the circumstances and any potential pay out - or is the compensation for the actual rape only not the child but Menendez will pay a civil child support, iyswim, and he won't query it as he already thinks he is the dad?

Now I can't find the episode where they spoke about the plan - I didn't quite follow Daya's logic about Bennett as I was multitasking and just thought 'after getting to this point, really?' .

There is a book but it's different, Nora (Alex) is in a different prison, Pop (Red) is a lot nicer to Piper in fact all the other women are and there is very little Larry, the things that pull them apart on the show bring them closer in the book.

Piper/Nora's relationship is very different to Piper/Alex in terms of their history and intensity of their feelings.

It's an ok read but something that should really be read before watching the show cause once you know the characters as they are on screen it's difficult to read about them so different.

Oh wow I loved this series so hard! The finale just had me punching the air. Yay for Rosa and Morello at the end! I had a horrible feeling she was going to stop and pick Vee up then I remembered the water/dinner scene.

I don't think they have a plan for the baby that could really work. They are hoping Pornstache will simply agree it is his, but even if that works I don't know how they think the baby wouldn't be put in care, seeing as both parents are in jail and grandmother - unless they have other family willing to step in... Hopefully not Pornstache's mum or something!
I was wondering if they are going to try to smuggle her or the baby out of the sewer pipe they have mysteriously left undiscovered, so the baby can go to live with Bennett, but then he would have to come to work and have a babysitter every day and the child wouldn't be able to be registered.... I can imagine the storyline of him coming in exhausted after sleepless nights up with baby and being scolded by her family for not doing it right or something, but not sure quite how they get to that point realistically. It would be too far fetched to have the baby up for adoption and him to be awarded it.

Are there no facilities in the US for mothers to go to a mother and baby unit in prison?

It would make sense for Daya's family to have the baby until Daya is out of prison, then they could head off to make a fresh start. But a DNA test will throw a spanner in the works! Maybe Mendez wouldn't request one? She's been in prison after all!

Does daya have any family though?

In her back story it seemed like she was looking after all the dcs and her mum's boyfriend was the only father figure, who then slept with daya when her mum went into prison. Not sure who has the smaller children now.

I think in the first season flashback where the kids all come to visit, they're being looked after by dipshit-bloke and the grandmother. Just started rewatching season 1 again - with the fresh perspectives season 2 threw up I feel it's necessary!

Ahhh! Grandmother- must have forgotten about her. Ye that could be an option for the baby.

Why did the DP(?) of the mother with the (absolutely gorgeous) little girl suddenly start talking? Relief that she hadn't gone to Virginia? I couldn't understand that. He seemed to hate her at every visit and suddenly was a ray of sunshine.

I didnt understand that either.i kept thinking he was about to tell her he'd met someone else and was moving away or something and then all of a sudden he was happy

Remember that when she thought she was being moved thousands of miles away in that prison transfer she asked that even though she knew it was difficult for him, that he should try to speak to her? I think he was shy.

But he stepped up, and became much more vocal with the baby, that's why she was so happy. I thought that was really cute.
