Yes i always thought DD was an absolute tool and groaned when i heard he was joining EE but he has made it his own. Love him in that role. And TW is brilliant as Stan. You really want to hate him dont you?

Oh stan is a creepy old sleaze anx him and cora I hated dd before with all this geezer nonsense but I do like him as mick, his family havnt fitted in that well though

I also think the Mick character is great, in fact I like all of the Carters except Tina. I have like Shirley for years - I thought it was funny when she was offloading to Phil about her pregnancy and she said 'it was the 70s, no-one knew what they were doing'

Shirley met a bloke. Was her first love and he got her preg wen was 14. She his pregnancy then when mum found out they went away with Tina who was maybe 2/3yrd and shirl had baby and mum said it was hers and they went back home and she passed it off as hers and stans

Mum then left and shirl was then like a mum an did everything for Tina and dd and maybe she had pnd and flipped as tried to drown dd in bath

Forgot the story with Ian and Gary - didn't Ian kick her out as said couldn't be his and assume Gary's but then was Ian's as snip failed

I don't beleive Shirley would expect Phill to dump Sharon whilst she's at death's door in hospital.... her character's far cooler than that. Does this mean yet another bride is going to be left at the altar...

Sharon has already had a couple of very late cancelled weddings. First with that man when, Phil turned up, then when Jack dumped her at the alter. They can't do that again, can they ?

Sharon and Phil won't make it to the alter.... Shirley will tell Sharon Phil sent the guys to trash the bar that will be the end if that.

I like that Shirley is all soft around phil. She's a tough nut but he's under her skin... It makes her more human.
