Rainie was a big surprise and I really like that Dominic Treadwell Collins keeps a few surprises up his sleeve that don't get released as spoilers.

All I can think is that Rainie does or did drugs and so did Lucy but I don't know what the connection is.

Mandy- what makes you think Sharon's beating is related to Lucy's death?

It was someone beginning with R, or so we were led to believe by Ian's phone. Presumably we were supposed to think it was Ronnie, hence the Rainie surprise moment. Or it could be that I've been reading this thread too often.

I think the mag linking Sharon's attack to Lucy's murder was a red herring. They are trying to make us speculate, but the reveal is so far away that I'm not even going to start! I like the new exec producer, but nine months for a murder reveal is bad planning and anti climactic.

I thought Letitia Dean acted the scene cowering behind the bar really well. Very convincing. Not too sure about Johnny's acting when phoning the ambulance though!

dont think phil set up the attack, think it was the pissed off bouncers

not sure why shazza has internal injuries as attacker grabbed her from behind then she hit her head on drinks counter

so ian shagged raine, hope he used a condom as didnt she have hiv/drug problem

plus he doesnt lock up his restaurant so she can walk in (or anyone else for that matter) but then he locks the door as when denise came round ian unlocked the door

They have done Ian & prostitutes, Janine, remember?

I think he went to see Rainie about the drugs. Rainie is Tanya's sister, Tanya is Jane's best friend, it stands to reason that he might have wanted to talk to her about Lucy, the drugs & addiction.

Another red herring, making us look into things too much.
