Hope no one minds - was just about to post on the thread but it was full.

What DVD? I missed that. Has no one watched it yet then or was it a red herring?

Me too Rose! When did all that happen? I didn't think I'd missed any episides...

hildasmuriel · 11/06/2014 08:03

I would like to see Lloyd with Eileen, they would love each other but bicker constantly, a new Jack and Vera.

mileysorearse · 11/06/2014 09:24

I didn't watch it for ages but for some reason I keep thinking that Liz once had a thing with Lloyd, did I make it up?

Ellenora5 · 11/06/2014 09:43

She did miley, sometime ago, Stevie boy was not impressed

mileysorearse · 11/06/2014 09:45

Thanks, I can sort of see why he wasn't impressed

eddiemairswife · 11/06/2014 11:00

I too think Eileen and Lloyd would be good together. I often think Eileen is being wasted in the stories she is given, where she has failed relationships or is being put upon by her sons. She really shines when she is given comic lines of dialogue.

mileysorearse · 11/06/2014 11:13

I do too. The fireman story was pointless in the end.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 11/06/2014 18:37

I loved when Eileen went mad and threw everyone out of the house for being selfish and lazy. But then she just let them all back in again!

JodieGarberJacob · 11/06/2014 18:59

Ooh yes, a good spat lasting a few episodes with Gail would be good. Or maybe she will give Andrea a few choice words when she hears the news.

JodieGarberJacob · 11/06/2014 19:00

Also I tend to think of Eileen as being a mum figure to Lloyd so it would be wrong for them to get togetherGrin

onedev · 11/06/2014 19:05

Me too Jodie - definitely wrong! I wish they'd write Lloyd out of it - his character is pointless!

NuggetofPurestGreen · 11/06/2014 19:36

Jesus even Fay can get a job on the street with no effort whatsoever!

mileysorearse · 11/06/2014 21:17

Andrea needs a slap! She is so awful that I am beginning to like Jenna.

alemci · 11/06/2014 22:09

yes her behaviour in Roy's was rude and disrespectful. I don't think Sylvia would have given Andrea a serviette or cutlery more likely a swift au revoir - unbelievable cheek.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 11/06/2014 22:11

Andrea is bloody awful

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 11/06/2014 23:25

Andrea was acting like a bratty teenager.

I liked Anna standing up to Owen, she should LTB, but as he owns the house chucking him out isn't really going to work.

eddiemairswife · 11/06/2014 23:33

Faye didn't seem to be drunk. I realise that a young actress might never have been in that condition, but surely the director could have helped out.

JodieGarberJacob · 11/06/2014 23:58

As soon as she walked in Owen decided she was drunk. If my 12 year old dd walked in looking the worst for wear the last thing I'd suspect would be alcohol!

Sally was ace tonight!

mileysorearse · 12/06/2014 07:56

The glass on the wall was a nice touch

ssd · 12/06/2014 08:20

Sally is getting really good, I agree

hildasmuriel · 12/06/2014 15:39

Gary decided she was drunk straightaway, on the basis she was a bit quiet when she got in the van. Ignoring adults and grunting at them is in the job description for teenagers where I come from! I have no idea why he and Owen immediately guessed she had been drinking!

Loved Sally. I don't understand why Sophie was stirring it though. I think Sally and Tim could be a great couple. Far better than with shouty Kevin.

There seems to be a lot leaving the Street? Do you think we will get an influx of new characters. All of whom will probably move into Eileen's and promptly get jobs at the Rovers / Roy's.

ssd · 12/06/2014 19:08

yes and the jobs as above will pay the rent and keep them in booze at the rovers 7 days a week

ssd · 12/06/2014 19:38

...and meals out in the bistro willy nilly

not bad on a corner shop job or stitching knickers in the factory

theliverpoolone · 12/06/2014 21:20

If Michael le Vell hadn't had to be written out again, they were going to have him and Sally getting back together. Hope they don't stick with that as a storyline if/when he comes back again, now we're all so fond of Tim Smile. Can't bear moany Kevin.
