I just saw the trailer and got really excited then, I remembered Sad. I can't imagine Don in the 70's! Will he still be married? How old will he be now?

I'd like to see Roger embrace disco!

Or my good self of course. Grin

IdaBlankenship · 16/04/2014 18:41

How could I have forgotten your weird lust for Mr Stirling Shock? You're right Roger would be at home at Studio 54.

SorrelForbes · 16/04/2014 18:57

The Silver Fox - I would

MarshaBrady · 16/04/2014 18:57

Great.

PeteCampbellsRecedingHairline · 16/04/2014 19:09

I thought you quite enjoyed a bit of the Silver Fox, Ida? Wink

IdaBlankenship · 16/04/2014 19:18

Oh, I could happily marry Roger and listen to his quips whilst we drank Scotch together, but for lusty times I would prefer Don or Pete

Lighthousekeeping · 16/04/2014 19:22

Jon Hamm is a great actor. He's completely square in era life he says

ShirleyFuckingKnot · 16/04/2014 19:23

I can't wait! I'm poorly though so I'm scared I'm not going to make it until 10 - will sky plus it obviously, but WAH!

IdaBlankenship · 16/04/2014 19:36

He is also not half so attractive in real life either Lighthousekeeping, he was made to play Don.

I may have to join you Shirley, it's past my bedtime (party animal that I am)

MarshaBrady · 16/04/2014 19:38

Don D is bizarrely much, much hotter as DD than John Hamm or JH in anything else - including Bridesmaids or that doctor poster I used to drive past.

Lighthousekeeping · 16/04/2014 19:39

I think you are right. I can't see him being any good in any other roles really. Not as good as anyway. His partner seems very serious as well. I bet they spend hours naval gazing.

I'm recording it so I don't have to sit through the adds.

Hello fellow Madmen fanatics. I remember most of you from the last thread. I was TheAccidentalExhibitionist Easter Smile

I can't friggin wait for this season

I hope they haven't made Don too old, I still want to fancy him

PeteCampbellsRecedingHairline · 16/04/2014 20:06

This is turning into a lovely reunion.

Shall we agree to write spoilers at the top of posts discussing current episodes? I don't want to ruin it for anyone accidentally.

I have to watch live as we have Now Tv. Fingers crossed the connection is good tonight.

PeteCampbellsRecedingHairline · 16/04/2014 20:09

I don't want to fancy Don. He's such a bastard but so sexy.

Did we ever talk about what it meant when he visited his old house with the children at the end of Season 6?

I'm too scared to google anymore. Too many spoilers!

IdaBlankenship · 16/04/2014 20:13

Hi Accidental / Merde. (Actually that sounds like a good NN : AccidentalMerde).

Mad Men discussions are always the best. It seems like forever since it was last on. There has been a real dearth of quality programmes on, but last week Game of Thrones came back on and now Mad Men - spoiled for choice.

MerdeAlor · 16/04/2014 21:30

That's my next NN sorted then.
I'm going to be watching MM tomorrow as it doesn't start until 11 tonight for me (live in France).
I'll check in after so no spoilers Easter Wink

Lighthousekeeping · 16/04/2014 21:42

Don't forget Fargo nSunday as well.

I'm gasping for a G and T but I'm waiting for the credits.

OP posts:
IdaBlankenship · 16/04/2014 21:51

The trailer's look good for Fargo, and I have a bit of a soft spot for Colin Hanks - I sat through the hideousness that was The House Bunny because he was in it Blush

ShirleyFuckingKnot · 16/04/2014 22:04

And we're off....screw illness.

OscarWinningActress · 16/04/2014 22:14

Hmmm...I'm not sure I can muster the excitement I used to get from a new season of MM. It sort of went off the rails for me when Betty Draper got the GoodYear Blimp treatment and I find Megan really irritating. I,m not really sure the producers are up for the challenge of entering a whole new decade...and the children would be grown-up by now, surely?

PeteCampbellsRecedingHairline · 16/04/2014 22:23

SPOILER!!

I look amazing.Grin

Lighthousekeeping · 16/04/2014 22:25

Megan is stunning

OP posts:
thatstoast · 16/04/2014 22:29

Can someone explain the spolier policy to a dummy? is it OK to talk about tonight's episode during/after it has aired in the UK?

ShirleyFuckingKnot · 16/04/2014 22:31

I have no idea about the spoiler policy. All I can say is that no one appears to have aged a moment...god Don. Don, Don! DOOOOOOON.

SorrelForbes · 16/04/2014 22:32

Pete, I expected nothing less Grin
