Everyone is saying that tonights episode is the best yet, baby needs to sleep so I can watch it!

OP posts:
Tallalime · 31/03/2014 22:02

I assume that either Beth or Tyrese/Carol will turn up there next season be not designated as food and discover them all somehow.

wigglesrock · 31/03/2014 22:04

Meh, bit weak. I don't feel like the story has progressed much this series.

AWimbaWay · 31/03/2014 22:05

"we get stronger when people become part of us" or something along those lines, I'm still sticking with the cannibals theory.

Its0kToBeMe · 31/03/2014 22:05

My heart rate went through the roof watching that!!

I really wanted Rick and Coral to see Judith.

Rick has to be my most favourite character of any movie/film/series ever. He's hardcore.

I got a bit weepy when Daryl offered himself instead of the three.
October.......really??????

Friginilla · 31/03/2014 22:08

All the skeletons in that little yard as they were trying to escape

Whathaveiforgottentoday · 31/03/2014 22:09

Mixed feeling about the episode. its a bit mean that they've left it like that. Its going to be a long wait.
Rick was awesome though.

curiousgeorgie · 31/03/2014 22:09

It's clearly cannibals & ritual sacrifice... Guess the only question is where are the others & Beth?

Was the powdered milk a sign that Judith is there? Or has Carol not got there yet and is going to save the day!

My heart was beating so fast when Carl was walking to the cart. I thought he was gonna get shot. Or rather someone slam the door shut then we hear a shot, but wont find out if he's dead til next series.

It was a bit of an anti climax but can't wait for the next one.

laraeo · 31/03/2014 22:10

I'm glad we're rid of Farmer Rick and have Bad Ass Rick back.

If we're sticking with the cannibal theory (and I think I am) then how do they weed out the eaters from the eatees? There were an awful lot of people outside the fence when Rick & Co. were finally captured and put in the boxcar.

And that whole boxcar thing kept me thinking of the Holocaust.

And if they had people on the roof, does that mean they saw where Rick buried the weapons stash?

NurseyWursey · 31/03/2014 22:11

I hope they've not ate Judith. The fuckers.

Well in for Rick spotting the watch. The audacity of that wench wearing Daryl/Maggie's poncho Angry

Tallalime · 31/03/2014 22:11

They seem to have a 'theme' each season.

Season 1 was accepting the new reality.
Season 2 was whether it was better to be a Rick or a Shane.
Season 3 was all about letting other people in and how it affects the core group (both at the prison and at Woodbury)
Season 4 was can you come back from the things you've done

Season 5 - I'm guessing something to do with faith/morality. What with the cannibals and the whole getting to DC to save the world business.

Monroe · 31/03/2014 22:13

I really enjoyed it.

Loved seeing rick getting his dander up and becoming all bad ass again. And I enjoyed seeing all the back story and the explanation of why he came over all farmer Giles for a while.

I spotted the powdered milk too and wondered if they had judith there at one point and have moved her somewhere else.

Still never gave a second thought to beth though but it would've been good to see carol and tyreese.

I also loved the last line Grin

Is it a given they are cannibals or did I miss something obvious that gave it away. I saw the mound of skeletons, was the implication they'd been butchered and eaten?

And if so, what's the liklihood of getting so many like minded people all together in the same place?

BlueFrenchHorn · 31/03/2014 22:14

Wow just fucking wow!!!

rallytog1 · 31/03/2014 22:14

I think the powdered milk was for fattening up the livestock, so to speak.

It was great to see people reuniting, but the ending just felt a bit meh.

CheerfulYank · 31/03/2014 22:14

Beth will be in some cult, I reckon. Probably won't see her for awhile.

I really want Carol to swoop in and save everyone while Tyreese holds the baby and cheers her on. :o

MichonnesSamuraiSword · 31/03/2014 22:14

Aaaargh!!!!!!!!

Was hoping for more resolution than that!

It's definitely a meat farm isn't it. I thought that big room with all the candles was going to be a gas chamber.

And I think the powdered milk is to fatten the captives up.

Toizzy · 31/03/2014 22:14

When does part 3 of season 4 start?Shock

Monroe · 31/03/2014 22:17

cheerful that made me chuckle. I could just picture tyreese shushing the giant baby whilst passing carol all the guns and ammo

NurseyWursey · 31/03/2014 22:18

Yeah that bloody woman's been standing at that grill offering up her meaty goodness for two god damn episodes, not an animal in sight.

NurseyWursey · 31/03/2014 22:18

Toizzy there is no part 3, it'll be Season 5 next

AmberLeaf · 31/03/2014 22:18

The skeletons looked like they had been stripped of flesh... [they were piled up in a fenced area as they were trying to escape.

I too thought it was disappointing.

SillyTilly123 · 31/03/2014 22:19

It doesnt toizzy.

Wouldnt it be great if they turned TWD into a soap opera so we could watch it every day?!

Tallalime · 31/03/2014 22:19

I assume the powdered milknis to fatten them up?

I think it'll be more than cannibals. Say they're also after expanding the group then Beth is good 'breeding stock' and they got her alone, unlike Maggie, Rosita, Sasha, Michonne and Tara who turned up in big, well armed established groups.

Likewise Tyrese, Carol and Judith present as a family. Tyrese is a big gentle bloke, Carol is a petite middle-aged woman - they both have a baby to protect, so not a threat.

Either/or could get an alternative Terminus welcome and attempts to indoctrinate them into the Terminus way of life.

I have made an assumption that the folk at Terminus have lost a lot of people to new arrivees - based on the room with the candles and names, and trust noone slogans scrawled on the walls. So it might simply be a question of how you arrive there determines your fate.

SaltySeaBird · 31/03/2014 22:20

Hmm feel a bit let down.

Are we safe to discuss it now that it's aired in the UK? Spoilers ahead if you haven't seen it ...

Was good and enjoyed it but ...

I think the groups might have been happier to reunite. I know it wasn't in the happiest of circumstances but it was a very subdued reunion.
