I'm placing bets on Oscar coming back and miraculously have aged a bit and he does it.

Lucy is a pretty minor character though, and seems 'newer' as she was re-cast only a couple of years ago. I wonder if keeping the whodunit going until next February is going to get a bit tiresome.

eastenders are king at dragging out a story line. I won't be interested in February who killed Lucy. They should wrap it up a little before Christmas imo.

Not another whodunnit storyline . Lucy isnt a likeable or engaging character, so how they are going to drag out months and months of 'susense' over who killed her is beyond me.

Her affair with Max makes me cringe. She looks SO young. Creepy.

Whatever happened to Jack, btw? I only watch EE once or twice a week, so often seem to miss exits and key shenanigans.

Grass That is exactly how I feel about Lucy as a character - she isn't engaging at all and has been very much on the sidelines until this recent story. I don't honestly know how they are going to drag the story on for nearly a whole year either! She looks so young - I think she is supposed to be about 20 but looks younger than that to me.

I don't know where Jack it either - Roxy said the other day that Amy was with her for the night so he must be around somewhere.

Why do all the teenage girls wear such horrible clothes? Nancy looks like she's about to kick an American football around the Vic, Lucy's trouser suits are awful and Whitney has been taking style lessons off Bianca! (I know she has a fashion diploma but still Hmm Grin). And don't get me started on Sonia Grin

I also don't understand why Lucy thought it was a good idea for Lauren to wear the exact same suit as her.

I would say, though, that nancy dresses the way she does so she is the polar opposite to her mother, who looks utterly ridiculous.

They have ramped up the Max and Lucy affair too quickly. On one hand, thats good, because its boring and needs to be got over and done with asap. On the other hand, its not in the slightest bit believable. Lucy shags her mate's grim old dad a few times and now she 'needs' him? Pah.

She IS very thin, yes. Incredibly pretty, though. But the way her and Lauren dress makes them look like two work experience students playing a game of The Apprentice.

Whitney is a lovely looking girl, too, but the trowelled on eyeliner is shocking.

Who is this bloke that Ronnie paid to take Roxy out? I'm lost on that storyline...

Max must have the biggest knob. How does he manage to get all these women (or rather, girls) to shag him?
I don't give a shit who kills Lucy, she is a pointless character who annoys the hell out of me.
I also can't remember Ronnie being this shit of an actress, I know she asn't the best, but don't remember her eing this bad.

Re: Alfie, why is he the only one who ever acts like a normal person? When Ronnie got out he was outraged, rightly so, she kidnapped his kid, but Kat was all like 'she's served her time, let's forgive' yeah, right.
Then when Roxy wanted her to move into the Vic, thinking that was all fine, Alfie was angry because no way was he having her in his house, SHE STOLE HIS BABY!
Then this whole thing with Stacey, he is the only one who says "hold on, she is a MURDERER" No one else on the square ever reacts like a noral person would, like Alfie.

TheGrassIsSinging yes the story has progressed much too quickly, and seemed to come out of nowhere. The bloke that Ronnie paid to take Roxy out is Aleks who is the market inspector. I don't know why she paid him though.

Silvery yes Alfie is the only one to have any sort of memory. I have watched Eastenders since it started and they always seem to get over murders and kidnapping very easily.

Also Kat seemed preg with twins the week after they got back together and he didn't marry roxy

Who has seemed to forgive being jilted very quickly

Pubs kitchen is getting bigger just as aunty Pauline's now Ian's is

Used to barely fit in a small table for 4 and now large table for 6

I have next week's tv guide and they have listed the possible suspects for Lucy's murder - they are Max, Ian, Jake, Lauren, Whitney, Lee, Peter and Danny. Murder seems such an over-reaction to any of the grudges any of these characters have with her though.

Fakebook I know - I mean why is Peter a suspect? He is her twin brother and they seem to get on reasonably well don't they?

Apparently Lucy and Ian are going to have a massive row next Friday when some awful secret about her is revealed (maybe her sleeping with Max?) and then she storms off and then is found dead on the common later that evening.

Lauren also has tried to bump her dad off before, so she has form.

I don't think it will be Ian, they've kept his character as cowardly for such a long time it would be ridiculous if it was him, and they have played him as being so totally uninterested that it's too obvious. He has always really loved his kids too.

Jake is a non entity, what has he got to do with Lucy? Apart from the website building.

I don't think it will be Whitney, although Lee coming back from the army... I suppose it could be him, but I think they have another 'deserting the army because of xyz' storyline for him coming up so I don't think they will tie it in with that.

Peter....I guess? Maybe? Can't think of a reason apart from a mistake like Blondes has said.

Maybe it is Abbey?
