Despite my reservations I have to say is getting better. I'm starting to like the carters, and aleks, and the Lucy story. I'm sick of Lauren being centre stage here though, her whiny 3 year old acting is too much. Her lip filler was me ruined on an earlier thread, she's pretty enough not to need it.

I wish they'd bring Kim back, she keeps making v weird pop ups via Skype. What's going on there?

Also I think carol has done a great job. She actually looks ill and its a little more realistic than the v badly handled and scripted Tranya storyline. Tranya got her diagnosis and was clear and back to work within a few months and her wailing and hiding was annoying to watch.

I think the killer is Cora.

Think Lucy is a nypho - ie likes sex / jake - lee - max all within a few days/ weeks as well as making eyes at Abbie's boyfriend

I don't think charlie cotton and mrs Doyle are undercover cops. She was wearing a smart suit that she was going to return to the shops. A real police person wouldn't need to return a suit would they? Or buy one just for the occasion.

Perhaps she's another one of his mindees who he roped into helping with the promise of protecting her from an abusive ex? Anything's possible in soap-land! Or maybe she is an undercover cop who was in a relationship with Nick, Charlie is his son & together they're getting revenge on Nick for the way he treated them. She'd never normally dress like that so wanted to return the outfit.

Or maybe they're con artists & helped Nick fake his own death to avoid some loan sharks & the 'police woman' was just in fancy dress... Or she's Nick's more recent ex, Charlie's not his son & they've actually got Nick holed up in a cellar somewhere...

I'd be interested to know how "Ma mobile" was written on his phone. Overthinking now! Could it have been M.A.? If he were undercover there's no way he'd be carrying around his personal mobile with his mother's real phone number listed so obviously.

I like that Ben was released without his family knowing, especially as he is a young offender. He would also be released on licence and would need an appropriate address to return to.

I think Mrs Doyle is actually Charlies Mum, but I can't figure out what the full story is.

I don't think Ben could reappear - the actor that played him committed an offence IRL and was convicted. He was then banned by the EE management. Unless he comes back with a new head of course.

Yes, a new head for Ben has been confirmed by EE bosses . They're currently recasting. I think he'll be onscreen later this year.
