Also, how come Abi has an offer for VetMed at Liverpool university? My DD is in the same school year as Abi so I have an idea of what she would need for that. I think she would have to get at least AAA at A level - the courses are fiercely competitive and to stand any chance of an offer you have to have done about 4 different placements for work experience, on a farm, in a vet practice etc. Albert Square doesn't have a vet surgery so poor Abi is at a disadvantage there. I seem to remember Abi didn't do too well last year at AS level and those grades are what the universities look at when making their offers, so how come she is going for one of the top degrees in the country?

The fact that lucy fucked Lee as soon as she met him, inspite of his apallingly cheesy chat up line, suggests to me that he's involved in her murder.

It'll be tied up with the reason he went AWOL and Lucy will get caught in the crossfire whilst her and lee are shagging on the common.

Apparently Lucy and Ian are going to have a massive row next Friday when some awful secret about her is revealed (maybe her sleeping with Max?) and then she storms off and then is found dead on the common later that evening.

PaintedBottom is right. Arthur's bench is the one in the gated green area where they all go if they're feeling sad/lonely/hungover/nostalgic. Any happy people are normally shooed away in the direction of the Vic or "caff".
