Would have been better to say Janine not guilty of nursery but was if manslaughter and either have 2yrs suspended sentence etc

I wonder how much legal advice the EE writers took or chose to ignore about this storyline? It's got more holes than fishnet tights.

First of all, Stacey allegedly stabbed Janine in the hand back in the day. For a first offence, she would hardly get fifteen years. I don't understand why she had to go on the run to Mexico! Secondly, if Janine then decided she DIDN'T get stabbed by Stacey then that is perjury.

Also, Janine changed her story in court so also should have got arrested for perjury for doing that, surely?


I hope they don't bring Janine back. Charlie Brooks is a good actress, but it was getting so boring watching her go round just being senselessly nasty to all and sundry.
