Actually your theory holds water, Jules, or something like it. Charlie could be the coke dealer (charlie = cocaine, geddit?) working with or for Nick, and could have been Lucy's mystery supplier. Perhaps, being linked with Nasty Nick, his coke was cut with something that killed Lucy.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Nick is definitely still alive. Also Charlies Mum is coming into it soon, so I think he must be Dots DGS, especially now that she thinks he isn't.

I've had a marathon EE catch up this week, 2 months worth! (I know I should have just deleted them all and read the thread instead!).

My first theory was a bleed on the brain after the fall with max, but I don't think even EE could drag that out for another 6 months.
My other chief suspect is jake. Northerners never do well on EE, although I have some doubts now he's been under suspicion so early on.

I hope Charlie is some super secret undercover cop. I want him to stay cos he's fit haven't they done Nick ripping off Dot for her money storyline a million times before?

I don't know if anyone else picked this up but it's been bothering me. Ian accused David of having an affair with Lucy, yeah? Let me put it this way - Ian accused his own brother (blood not step!) of having an affair with his daughter, his brother's niece!

Do the writers forget that they are actually brothers? I know Pat's family tree is complicated but someone should have seen that!

Isn't it Ian and the other wicks brother (nick Berry) who are actual brothers. Peter was David's step dad.

I have probably got this wrong though.

David is the son of Pat Wicks (Pam St. Clement) and her first husband Pete Beale (Peter Dean). Pat and Pete split up when David and his brother Simon (Nick Berry) were young and Pat remarried to Brian Wicks (Leslie Schofield), who adopted both David and Simon (who turned out to be Brian's biological son). Meanwhile Pete remarried to Kathy Hills (Gillian Taylforth) and had another son, Ian (Adam Woodyatt). Pete had no further contact with David and Simon when they moved away from Walford in 1976.

I thought that too. I was wondering how you could accuse your brother of having an affair with you l your daughter, but it's not like they grew up as brothers or knew each other or anything so I wouldn't be surprised if they just forgot. Like how there seems to be no sadness for Lucy in the butcher/jackson/dean household even though Lucy and bianca were cousins.

There is absolutely no family loyalty across the Beale/ Wicks/ Jackson family, is there? Think of how horrible Ian is to Bianca who is his niece.

The wig thing has bothered me. Sounds anal but the way ee showed it isn't how nhs wigs works

I got a wig for my mum. I contacted lady and sent pics of my mum what she looked like with hair. Lady then came to house with 5 wigs all same colour and style as my mum. Mum once found one she liked lady then cut it and styled to my mums head

She didn't have a lady turn up with lots of diff colours and styles who them butted into an argument between strangers in the hall like ee wig lady. Wig then doesn't get sent in post. Lady comes and checks you are happy bringing wig with you

As I said a small point but bugs me !!!!!

And David was probably shocked as wig looks nothing like carols hair where as my mum looks like hers

Blondes - glad to hear that's not the way the wig fitting service works. Carol looks ridiculous. Nice to know that they make some effort to make it look like real hair.

Also sorry to nitpick but does anyone else find the way lauren talks really irritating? She always sounds like she's sort of out of breath.. Like she rushes through every sentence. Not sure how to describe it really but it bugs me!

maybe charlie cotton is in the vice/fraudsquad or something and works undercover those police officers never reveal they are officers do they because they are always undercover ,

Can't work out the Charlie thing at all. Which is a good thing. It's making it very watchable, all this mystery.

Jake obviously didn't do it but there must be a reason for throwing him in there as too suspect. Just a red herring to drag it out maybe.

That would annoy me too Blondes I had hopes they were paying attention to the little details after the Tanya breast cancer storyline was done so badly. I know it 'only a soap' but they can be a good way of getting info out there to people who might not experience these things in rl.
I feel a similar way whenever they do a fertility treatment storyline on a soap. It's never anything like how it really is. I know they have to dramatise it, which is fine, but sometimes it looks like their researchers just didn't bother.

Sigh. So many mistakes ^ I swear this phone has a mind of it's own.
