I don't like Sonia either. I don't particularly like Natalie Cassidy either after watching her reality show once. Her fiancée seemed like a weirdo too.

The thing that annoys me about Sonia is that they insist on making out she's such a hotty! I remember this irritating me when she used to be in it all the men were always after her and whilst I've never gone in fit the assassination of her looks that happen in women's magazines I also don't think it's realistic to imply she's the siren of the square.

I really don't get the attraction of the Sonia in looks or personality TBH.

Sonia was set up to be the new pauline fowler naggy and nosey but then she left she would be a perfect replacement

Where on earth is this going with Charlie!! Can't work it out at all. A thought I had is that nick is still alive. Perhaps Charlie owes him a ton of drug money or something but as a way to pay him back instead is treating to kill dot so nick can inherit everything haha totally "out there" idea but I just can't tell what's happening here!

Lj on the night Lucy died it showed her last moments, she had a row with Max, stood outside in the street and received an email on her phone (I only know it was an email because the BBC said so in their description of the plot). She looked at it and emoted smirked and scurried off, presumably to meet her doom. Then Lauren found out that the email could have been from Jake. Hence Friday's "Let me explain..." spit shower etc

Jules, somebody theorised upthread that Charlie might be a cop, but an undercover one. Nick's turned supergrass and is in witness protection. He agreed to his fake death on condition that someone look after his mum.

I really like this theory! But ... I can't imagine the police agreeing to inflict the fake death of her son on an innocent old lady or post a full-time minder on her. Neither do I credit Nick with caring that much about Dot's feelings.

Surely it's more likely that Charlie's some kind of chancer. Or even Nick's real son, with emotional problems?

I'd quite like to see Dotty again. She was an interesting character.
