It looked like she didn't have her (big black stompy) shoes on, so maybe she was killed elsewhere and dumped. Perhaps her and Danny did humongous lines of coke back at the flats and her emaciated frame couldn't hack it and she croaked...

If she was cutting through the woods to get somewhere, she'd have had to take those ridiculous shoes off. She couldn't walk through the square in them, never mind an uneven ground of park/rec/common/woods whatever.

SinisterBuggyMonth, I came in to say just that! Phil is the only current cast member I can think of who has done class A drugs. Can't think of anyone else who'd provide her with them.

The next few episodes are going to be really intense, tear jerking and realistic from what I've read. They're going to show exactly what happens when a death like this occurs.

On a completely different topic, we still don't know what was inside Nick Cotton's coffin. His "son" is also getting quite chummy with Ronnie isn't he?

On a separate issue, what has happened to Stacey? I missed a few episodes a couple of weeks ago and she had disappeared when I came back in. Ooh, just thought- could she be a suspect in Lucy's murder due to jealousy over the oh-so-attractive Max?

It was at the court house, when Kat was lying about seeing Alice kill Michael, Stacey was abot to run in to stop her, but Max grabbed her (Stacey) at the entrance and they had a little confrontation about why he lied to her (her told Stace that Kat was in witness protection or some shit to stop Stace telling her not to testify), and he said "I just don't want to lose you" and she said "I'm not yours to lose Max"
Stacey is now in prison because she phoned the police and confessed to the murder of Archie Mitchell. Lily is in Brighton with Jean.

I wondered about Danny as culprit. He's disordered enough to do it, but would have to have a motive. Is he expected back in the series?

I can't think of any big enough motives for murder. I could see Cindy being bonkers enough to do it, if she thinks there's either money or improved family support in it for her.

And was Peter accused of killing someone down in Devon, before his sudden appearance? It's a bit much to bump off your own twin out of petty jealousy, but we've not been shown much of his character yet and I notice they're building up his controlling side.

I don't think it was that Peter directly killed anyone. From what I remember of the story, he and a friend were swimming a lake or something, and the friend got into trouble and Peter wobbled and didn't do everything he could to help him. So no, he didn't kill anyone, we were led to believe that a young man/lad/boy however you want to refer to a 18/19 year old was overcome with fear and shock and couldn't do anything, and then has to live with the guilt of that.

What about Masood? Isn't Lucy the reason Jane backed out of the dirty weekend away? Notice him watching Lucy drop all her papers and shit in the square? He paused and looked, then went inside...........

Peter, I don't think so. I'm sure siblings have killed for less, but I just can't see it, plus he'll be involved in a Jay and Lola storyline, that has to be done. Surely.

I really want it to be: Nick Cotton [evilgrin] Afaik, he'd have no possible motive, I just think it'd be a top twist.

Lee - I can't think of a motive, but he wasn't around when they were in the pub.

Lauren - possibly already knows about her father and Lucy as may have been informed (we'll soon see). She kept asking if Lucy had anything to tell her.

Plus, I thought Lucy looked up at her house like she was leaving. Lee asked her about leaving...

Or maybe it was her coke dealer. Whoever that is.

I'm sure I won't care by next year

Oof, that was tense! Shock I thought the ending with the camera scanning through the trees and the phone messages was brilliantly done.

Also noticed, like a complete nerd, that the music playing as she walked off was Rhinna's Diamonds with the line 'like diamonds in the sky'. Reminded me of Lucy in the sky with diamonds.

I still have no clue really. The trailer/teaser thing after the episode was weird.
