Did Lucy shag Jake in return for the web design? He seems to spend most of his time staring weirdly at very young women ... he and Max make a right pair. What Max said to Lucy, 'You think you're the big woman now', was horrible!

I'm wondering if Jake & Lee - or Max or Peter & Lee - are going to get into a fight, giving Lucy a second blow to the head by accident. It's been a while since I've been so excited about an EE storyline! Hetti Bywater's been acting so much better this last couple of weeks ... maybe she was as bored with Lucy's character as I was.

Ooh good call Garlic ! They haven't actually called it 'murder' have they? So accidental is possible.

Although would that take away the 'who dunnit' aspect?

so perhaps people don't even think she is murdered? Since Ian knows she takes drugs now, maybe everyone assumes she has died from an overdose! but we find out later she was murdered...then again the post-mortem would reveal it was a murder I guess

When we first talked about the storyline, we spoke about Lucy dying and her body being found on Walford Common. We decided that the story would be about grief at first, but then slowly get closer and closer, until the focus goes onto the Square and the Beales suddenly realising that actually the killer is amongst them.

Looks like murder.

Oooh! the Beales suddenly realising that actually the killer is amongst them. - What, as in family member? The only one capable of that much malice would be Cindy, surely? Mind you, Jane's history whilst away is a total mystery ... Is she scheduled to stay in the series for a long time, does anyone know?

Perhaps whoever kills her knows about the drugs, so thinks they will get away with it because they can blame it an overdose or something. But again post-mortem etc would reveal it..hmmm

I think Jake wants Lauren back and is going to use the photos in a "your dad is a hypocrit, you know you love me too, blah, blah, blah" type thing.

Don't think he kills Lucy though, my money is on Cindy or Lauren.

I really can't see it being Lauren. Lauren is like Queen of Drama. I'd have thought she'd much rather have it out with Lucy and cause a huge fuss than "just" kill her..seems to "easy" IUKWIM.

It would certainly make for a good storyline if it was Cindy, since she will have had the baby by next February so there will be all the drama around that and who will take the baby if it is Cindy. Perhaps Jane and Ian would adopt it? (I'm assuming they'll be getting back together!)

I think "amongst them" just means regular cast TBH. Otherwise it narrows the pool of suspects considerably.

Apparently on the way to Ronnie and Roxy's house warming party Lucy will get an email and go off somewhere else and then is found dead. I still think Ronnie has something to do with it. Why is she having a big party? Maybe to use it as an alibi trying to kill Lola but gets it wrong? It was eery how she was caressing Archie's ring the other day.

Fakebook my money is still on Ronnie..wanting to kill Lola so she can adopt Lexi.

There must be a reason why they're doing this whole slightly awkward thing with Ronnie and Lola, the way she's mothering her etc. The crash etc obviously brought back all the horrible memories and she's just desperate to be a mum again

DieselSpillages but what would be the big reveal next feb on the 30th anniversary episode? I think they will make it look like suicide/overdose but will slowly realise she was killed

Ronnie and Roxy are having a house warming before they move in to Janne's old place. That's the reason for the party.
In terms of the reason for the Ronnie being weird with Lola, even though this big thing with Lucy is going on, they have to carry on the lives of the other characters, they're going to carry this on until Feb, in the meantime, there will have to be other storylines to keep us watching. Ronnie is acting crazy because she is crazy. I don't think it's Lexi that Ronnie wants, it's Lola. Lola is only a bit younger than Danielle would be now, or is she the age Danielle was wehen she died?

I really haven't a clue you know which is unusual for me. I usually annoy myself by guessing plots really early on and it spoils it. It's being very well done. I almost wish I hadn't known she was going to die tonight as it'd be out of the blue.

That said, I hope they do keep who did it a secret until the reveal.

Yes, maybe. She did look a little confused about the text she got.........so not a mistake shooting or whatever, because although she asked Lauren why she wasn't at the flats, so I started thinking, oh here we go, but Lucy isn't dead at the flats, she is the middle of some kind of woodland.
