I am pretty up to date with EE but seem to have a small gap where i've missed why Lola is scared of Ronnie and Ronnie is trying to be all nice to her, what happened there?

I didn't watch it for years so missed all the Deano stuff.
Runner Ronnie accidently hit Lola with her car last week. She took Lola to hospital where the nurse called Ronnie "mum". Ronnie didn't correct the nurse and there was an awkward moment with her and Lola. Ronnie has been overly affectionate by doing shit like stroking Lola's face in what I think they are trying to portray as maternal.
I think Lola is right to be scarred, Ronnie is nuts.

They've brought up the subject of the death of Ronnie's children in recent episode haven't they? That fits in well with her seemingly "adopting" Lola as a daughter after the accident and the hospital misunderstanding.

Didn't Max go all macho and protective and denounce Jake in front of Sadie for shagging Lauren ? Maybe Jake is getting his own back at hypocrite max with the photo ?

maybe whoever took the photo kills Lucy to set up Max ..

I think the writers are throwing in a lot of red herrings to keep us guessing - Jake can't be the killer as he's leaving, unless his departure is because he killed Lucy?

I reckon Lauren will see the photo and then kill Lucy. Her character has had a fucked up car crash life so far and she's got the most motive.

Yes, I think the matching suits have something to do with it - they have worn them on and off for a few weeks now.

Is it definitely going to happen with a gun? Yes I agree it's going to be a case of mistaken identity, especially with Lola dressing in her clothes too in one episode.

I actually like how they've built up the story and got the viewers involved. Am also liking Les and his wife, I hope they keep up the comedy act. It's a shame they killed off Heather, she used to really make me laugh.

Cannot stand ronnie with her thin lipped scowl and 'look I'm a nutter' scowl. Honestly it's like the writers are thinking how crazy can we make her without this becoming a comedy.

But Jake supposedly loved Lauren. He wouldn't want to kill her just to get back at Max would he? And I don't even understand why he's going around taking pictures, it's not like they're having an affair.

Whoever kills her, they're not making it easy and I bet it's going to be someone we never even thought of...like Dot or Patrick...or Cora!

I don't think it can be mistaken identity between lauren and lucy, they'd have to be wearing some sort of hat with their suits. I really think it is between lola and lucy.

Well in my dream last night it was Carmel out of Hollyoaks. I haven't watched Hollyoaks for years so it must be a sign.

What about Lee the soldier? I can't really think of a motive apart from a PTSD episode but we'd have seen signs of that already surely.
