Twit - welcome to life on the thread. Where you leave your dignity, along with your good name and your knickers, at the door.
Once you're in, it's like one of those mind control futuristic dreams. Only, in the past. And not a dream.
You will swear far too much because the little voice in your head saying it sounds funny at the time. You will shame yourself and family and entire female species. You will fantasise about disgusting things with fictional characters, played by respectable, real, and serious actors; reducing their fine performances to some kind of leather, sweat, mancake feeding frenzy. You will become a fighter, not a lover, and be prepared to smack down in the middle of the thread out of pure jealousy, and possessiveness.
And you will keep coming back, unable to resist. Despite the self loathing and high chance of counselling being required to get 'back to reality' at the end of it.
And as Mavis said yesterday, you will never speak of this thread, outside the thread. Barely making eye contact with other thread members when you see them out and about. But you probably won't see them, what with all the name changing, flat out denial, and plastic surgery taking place.
It's not big, it's not pretty and it's not clever. But it might, just might, make you giggle like a school girl, or take your mind off the day to day mundanity that life can sometimes be.
.... and so, Twit, provided you are willing to risk a life of shame forever... fear not these inner feelings. Embrace them, come over to the dark side
